I had harsher rules, and my parents have higher expectations for me, but it's nice because I have authority pver my sister.Shifty

My sister tries to do everything like me. Lately she's been listening to MSI and Morningwood and she sings 'Best of Me' all of the time. She's even started wearing her hair like mine. I love it. It makes me feel really special. :tehe: In Love
The older I get, the more I love being the eldest, tbh. My sister and I have a really great friendship.

Yeah, tougher rules. Those suck. And when I complain about it, none of my friends understand because they're all the youngest.

Rawr...I'm oldest by like ten years or so..
My younger sister is seven and my brother is five? I don't know...

It sucks being this much older cause your so used to being the only child and them BAM! You life sucks with siblings.

Dude, my parents are in for a shockwave when they get older though. I'm a bad science expirement in the matters of what to expect out of the other kids. I pretty much follow the rules [half of the time], and I don't do stupid shit [that they know about]. I can basically guaranty that my brother and sister are not going to be like me at all...

They will definitely party, get drunk, and do a lot worse than run a stop sign...haha. And I bet they won't be able to at least lie about what they are doing and where they are going.

Anyone else a crap ton older than the rest of their siblings? [It kinda sucks](a lot)
Same. I'm the oldest of one by fifteen years. This is the age range that follows (all of them are half, and I'm not even putting in the steps):
    -Collin; 11
    -Kynsleigh; 8 or 7
    -Garret; 3
    -Lilly; 15 months

I'm only close with Collin because well we just have that bond, where we know what the other's thinking, and just yeah. I haven't seen him in forever though. Cry But I'm kind of like his role model and he looks up to me a lot and always follows me around. Which I admit can get annoying but I know that's because he doesn't spend any time with me and that he doesn't really have anyone, so I suck it up and deal.

But the rest of them I'm not really close to because they're so much younger than me. I just don't know what to do with them. Unsure

And besides other than that I live as an only child with my grandmother, so I get the whole overprotected, can't-do-anything-out-of-line (I do, but what she doesn't know can't hurt her) routine. It sucks. Period.

I'm th oldest of two, I love my little brother a lot, but it drives me insane because I get blamed for everyhting. I like being the oldest sometimes, though. My parents trust me with certain things, and I am granted more responsiblity and independence. I can't complain. :D

I'm the oldest of three. And they're all 4+ years younger than me. I have tougher rules to follow and constantly get blamed for my younger siblings actions. I can't even tell them not to do something, because they are 'still learning' or 'they're only six'. Pssht, I knew better when I was six, grow up.

My friends that are oldest in their family too and I started this little club of older siblings, and we all have to stick together. We share our stupid little stories too. It's so much fun.

I'd like for my little siblings to look up to me more... I'm not the best influence on them. I'm actually probably the worst. Maybe they'll take everything I do and learn not to do it, so they can be better people. That'd be nice, I suppose. -shrugs-

My parents always make a huge fuss of my brothers doing anything but always kinda expect me to 'lead the way' and get on with it =/

So do I. I'm sixteen and she's six. See, she's my half sister and my step-dad's mom is the main one who does it. My parents don't do it all, actually. If my sister falls or gets hurt, my step-grandma thinks I'm the one to blame.

I used to get the blame for everything when I was way younger; now, however, me and my brother are really close and we team up to do pranks and stuff :tehe:

I'm the oldest of three and I don't know much of how it feels to be a "science expirement", because my parents compare us to each other all the time. I'm quiet and reserved (most of the time) and my mom is always going on, on how I should be more like my eccentric sister (and she's, like, 8! All 8 year olds are loud!). Most of the time I end up doing all the work and stuff, but I like it; I'm used to it. Funny thing is, I wouldn't have been the oldest if my mother didn't have a misscarige first. I'm always thinking what it would be like to have an older sister or brother, I watch the behaviour of both my younger sibs and shiver in pure disgust. I can never imagine being a younger siblin; I mean who doesn't love feeling superior? I just love it when my brother or sister asks me a question with an obvious answer. I give them the answer and they're praising me like I just found the cure for cancer of something!
So being the oldest has it's ups and downs

I am the oldest of three kids. My two younger brothers are such a handful. My three old brother, is autistic; so he's a bit more harder than most three year olds, not to mention the fact he is SEVERELY language delayed so badly that we don't know if he's ever going to talk. Plus he gets into everything, and since he can't talk he'll scream if he doesn't get what he wants, and you can't reason with him. My other brother is 5 months, so he is just as handful as any normal infant. :/ So in other words, I have to help A LOT.

I like being the oldest of two.
My sister's only a year younger though.
Except for when my parents make it a point to, "Watch out for your sister."
    I'll always do that.
But when it's not necessary, I'm not a bodyguard.

I'm the oldest of six children, haha.

I'm fifteen, Gavin is twelve, Tremayne and Jeremiah are both eleven, Sydni is nine, and Zechariah is seven.

I hate being the oldest sometimes; I'm held up to such a high standard by my parents to set a 'good example' for them, and I get bitched at excessively if I do something that doesn't set a very good example for them. And I'm held up to the highest standard of all of them with my grades and such; and that's hard.

But I love the fact that my siblings depend on me and look up to me so much sometimes; it makes me feel all tingly when my littlest brother comes up to me and hugs me and then says "Court! I'ma eat your face!" and tries to nom my cheek, hahaha. And I like how my other siblings all come to me for advice sometimes. <3

My sister is three years younger than me and she is so annoying. She is constantly in a mood, especially at me. The rare times she is nice to me are great. :)

Gah! I hate dealing with my mom's problems since my little siblings can't. My dad's another story. Being the oldest of four has taught me a lot though.

    Sometimes I hate it.
Because everytime my siblings say something spiteful, depressing, or anything like that, my parents say "They learned it from you." :file: Guhh.
