I named my first cat Emmy because of the mark she had on her head that looked like the letter "M"
I named her baby Gilligan because I loved that named. And Gilligan's Island.

I just got two kittens, one is mine and one is my brothers. I don't even particularily like cats, but I got them as a surprise gift. But anyways, I named my kitten Sylar because, well, I like Sylar from Heroes. Obviously. (My screen name and he covers my page) My brother first named his Thunder and then I told him he should have named it Chowder because he likes that show.

So, yeah. They are brothers and Sylar attacks his brother when he is bored. Just like Sylar from Heroes. He's vicious! Just kidding. Not really. But even though I don't like cats I still think they are cute.

I have three cats; Peaches, Pippa and Pixie.
Peaches, because she had peach-y coloured markings and she was all fuzzy when she was a kitten like peaches apparently are. My mum named her and was all 'She's fuzzy like a peach!' I was all 'Peaches are fuzzy?'

Anyway, Pippa was named just because she kind of looked like a Pippa, it fitted her and we wanted to keep with the 'P' theme. And Pixie because she was tiny and had a sort of Pixie like face and we still wanted to keep with the 'P' theme. It took the whole ride home to decide on Pippa and Pixie's names. We came up with things like Peanut and Butter and such but that was when we were just being stupid x)

My dad named my dog Prissy because her tail curls up and she acts so "prissy."

Sadie was named Sadie because....I dunno. But later I saw some survey/chart that says that Sadie is like the 10th most popular pet name.

I'm not sure how Beau got his name, but I am sure that I named him.

Koko used to be named Chica (the friend who I got her from thought of that), but my father insisted on renaming her because she is chocolate colored.

Sigi got her name from behindthename.com. I remember she went through a procession of names such as Weasel, Weasley, Weezy, etc. But they didn't fit right. So my father and I went online to my favorite name site and clicked around. We picked Sigi at the same time so we knew it had to be the perfect name.
I call her Sig Wig sometimes.

My cat Missy was named after another cat named Missy. The original Missy used to sleep in my crib and then go and get my parents when I woke up. I named the second Missy as a sort of tribute....or maybe because I was young and could only think of the name Missy.

Patrick used to be called Meow, but then I decided Meow wasn't original enough. One day, I danced around the house, picked her up, and then called her Patrick. The name stuck.

My dog's name is Zoey. She was already named when we got her, and she was old enough to have gotten used to it, so we didn't want to just change it. Besides, Zoey is cute. :cute:

I remember we named our cat Jack because for the first three weeks we owned it we though he was a she and she was originally named Ellie. But then we found out she was actually a he so the first boy name that came to our mind was Jack.

I don't remember why Monty was named Monty, we let Mum name him.

My dog Kodi looks like a Kodiak Bear. So we called him Kodi for that reason. :cute:

When we got Frodo, the last Lord of the Rings movie had just come out.
We were in the car on our way home and I was asking Mom for boy names for a dog. "Uh... Aragorn? Pippin? Legolous? Bilbo? Frodo...?"

When my parents got their first dog (before I was born), they decided that they would go in order of the alphabet.

That dog was named Abby, the stray we found on the street (but ended up not keeping) was Bandit, then Callie....the Al (but he was pre-named when we got him).

And me and my brother are going to continue with the alphabet where we left off when we get dogs.

It took about three days to find a name for the puppy my friend and i bought, i went through all my music cause I wanted her to have a music realted name but istill couldn't think of anything that fitted. Then my friend went out one day and she was wearing a Misfits top so we decided to call her misfit cause she's a strange dog, but we shorten it to Missy ^^

She knows how to play dead hehehe.
