Fast Food Culture

Well, I personally see any convenient food place as being fast food. Any take away food place, even if it's sushi for example. A restaurant isn't really convenient to me because it's a sit down meal and you don't usually have the option of 'on the go' (although some fast food places refer to themselves as 'restaurants'... but they're not the type of restaurant I'm talking about).

So for me, I'd draw the line at whether you can conveniently take the food away and have it on the run. Hence 'fast' food.

I eat whatever I can find/is offered to me. Sometimes it's healthy and sometimes it's not.

I eat out occasionally.
Other than that, I cook my own meals from nonfat foods.

Usually when I go into a fast food chain, I look at the nutritional information they have posted on the walls. Just looking at the stats for some of the burgers make me want to puke.

I usually just end up ordering a salad anyway. The only place I frequent is Subway. They make damn good subs.

The only fast food I eat is pizza, if that counts as fast food.

My town has everything- Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonalds, you name it, we've got it.
I really hate fast food though, so I rarely it it. I guess the only fast food I eat alot is Subway. I don't even consider it fast food, because when I think fast food, I think greasy fat filled. But I guess Subway is considered fast food.

If it's convenient, then yes, it does.
Especially if it's from somewhere like Pizza Hut or Domino's.

I love to eat out but my parents are obsessed with eating together with a home cooked meal.

I honestly don't think I've been to a fast food restaurant since elementary school. And even then, rarely.
There isn't a single fast food place in my town, which is good. I think it's really unhealthy.

Yeah, I eat at fast food restaurants. There's a McDonalds up the street from my house that I go to when we have absolutely nothing in the house. I usually just order from Domino's though. They've got kickass pasta.

I lived across from a Mcdonalds for a very long time, The second we moved and such, I was so happy, Because their food is not very good after you have it for like 10 years straight.

Ever since I went to college, I have consumed much more fast food since my school doesn't have a meal plan. But ever since I came home for the summer, I felt so much better eating homecooked meals. I feel less sluggish and my sleeping patterns have improved, haha.

I recently watched Supersize Me in health class.

Never again shall I eat fast food.

Nah, not me. My dad likes us to cook at home a lot.

I don't often eat the stuff. Mostly because I'm vegetarian.
But we do get a lot of those microwave meals...if that counts.

I love fish and chips. But I think all New Zealanders do. They're just so... easy you know?

I love going to Subway every now and then. I'm racking up the Subcard points.

I've also applied to work there recently.

As for fish and chips... if it weren't so damn filling so quickly I'd be eating it every day!

They forced that documentary down our throats so many times in high school. I know I sound fat, but watching it made me hungry. I will admit, I'm the typical fat American. I love fast food, especially when there is absolutely no time to cook something. I know it's bad for me, and I know I'm addicted, but I'm working on getting away from it. I've already severed ties with soft drinks and hamburgers.

I grew up close to a McDonald's. My parents loved having it so close, and my sisters and brother got hooked on the food. I just think McDonald's food is gross and over-priced compared to what you can get from other fast food restaurants.

I think Chipotle is my favorite, and yes I consider it fast-food.

We eat out on Saturday nights only. The rest of the week is home made stuff. I'm pretty cool with that arrangement. I get a bit tired of fast food.
