I really really want to read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but I figure I should read Pride and Prejudice first.
Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Waters.
Venus Envy by Rita Mae Brown.
...and about a million other books.
But ugh, I completely agree with you about Tithe. That's probably the most awful book I have ever read. Ever.

I rather liked Interview With A Vampire - it was a little slow to begin with but once I began to get to know the characters and actually care a little about them it became more interesting. And toward the end there's more action, which is handy.
- Pretty Macabre.:
- Then there are the books I'm valiantly attempting to finish, some of which I have exactly no motivation to actually pick up again. I want to cast them to the wayside - badly. However, I honestly cannot do that. It'll bother me forever.
Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice
120 Days of Sodom by Marquis De Sade. I may never get through this book, because it is pointless; a waste of time. It's not as disturbing as they all say it is (that's why I started reading it in the first place, because I can never turn down a challenge). I mean yes, most of it is absolutely vile, but if I do end up not finishing it, it's not because I'm a wimp (I must clarify), it's because I have better things to do with my life.
How To Kill A Rock Star by Tiffanie Debartolo
Fallen by Lauren Kate
Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black (Don't really like it. A little too mystical for my taste. Makes me feel like Holly Black was smoking a little green when she wrote it).
But ugh, I completely agree with you about Tithe. That's probably the most awful book I have ever read. Ever.
