    Dark Places by Gillian Flynn
    Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

I have recently discovered that there's a twelve book series of books on the history/mythology of Middle Earth and I want to read them all. Weird I mean, I had known a lot of the stories that Tolkien didn't publish during his lifetime got edited by his son and published later, but I didn't expect twelve books. To say nothing of the collection of letters.

I really want to read the Mark Twain autobiography but I won't get it til much later this year. :/ I asked for it for Christmas but my mom told me she went to Barnes and Noble to get it and they told her they were out of stock and would be backed up for the next three weeks. :( So I guess I'll just have to wait.

I recently discovered them as well. I've read up to the seventh one. They're quite good. Especially if you really enjoy the world of Middle Earth.

I want to read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
I've just never had the chance, but I'm on holidays now, so hopefully I can get a copy.

Despite my love of classic Russian literature, and having read every thing else by him, I have still yet to read Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, one of the most famous books of all time, and I have absolutely no idea why. New Years resolution, maybe?

I really, really want to read American Psycho but I don't think I'll be allowed judging by what I've heard of it.

I have a really long list of books on my To Read list:

    1. The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan
I read The Lightning Thief in his Percy Jackson series and loved all the Greek mythology in it. I also love ancient Egypt and learning about the gods and pharaohs, so I'm thinking The Red Pyramid will be like his other series, only packed with ancient Egypt mythology. That really excites me.

    2. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
I want to try to expand my taste in books. Lately I've just been reading teen fiction and young adult. Someone in my choir class told me they saw the movie and how disturbing it was, and I was intrigued and wanted to check out the book. I guess it's a murder mystery book taking place in Sweden. I hope I'm not disappointed.

    3. Maximum Ride by James Patterson
Sounds really interesting what with the kids that are experiments and have wings and are trying to get away. My sister read the first book and liked it and a friend of mine was reading Fang and when I asked her about the series she said it was really good.

The others on my list consist of Unwholly by Neal Shusterman (unwritten), The Soul by Stephenie Meyer (also unwritten), Looking for Alaska by John Green (suggested by my sister Lilly), the Pendergast series (also suggested by Lilly), and Dark Places by Gillian Flynn.

Whichever Batman book it is that comes between Batman and Son and Batman RIP. As well as The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul.

Basically, the last of Grant Morrison's run which I haven't read.

The Scarlet Letter was decent; it dragged on but
once you read between the lines it's so fascinating. (:
I'm reading Lolita at the moment.
Let The Right One In disappointed me and I didn't expect much from it.

^ I started The Scarlet Letter and I'm surprised by how much I actually enjoy it.

How do you like Lolita so far?

Read all of Palahniuk's work, even Snuff, which is by far the worst. Read Survivor first.
