Used to be on Quizilla. Then a chick I was friends with on there told me about a site she discovered called Mibba. I was like, wtf, and told her it sounded like an STD, but that I'd check it out anyway.

And here we are today. :)

Oh, and the fact that Quizilla just blew. Bad. Even in its heyday, Quizilla really, really sucked. :/

I came here about two months after Quizilla updated. One of my favorite authors came on here, and I, to be honest, couldn't stand Mibba at first. My irritation with Quizilla though lost, and I came to Mibba. I'm in love with Mibba now :D
What sucks though is I moved before Quizilla updated so...I moved having Quizilla as it was, when it wasnt crap, and then five months later find it to...that.
    Thank god for Mibba.

    I came from Quizilla.

A few years ago, things didn't used to be so bad. Once they started getting bad, I stayed because I had a few devoted readers. Then the repeatedly copied story-lines, terrible grammar, tweenie Twi-hards, credit going to terrible stories, and entire plots in titles drove me over here.

I was going crazy! But, I am happy here now(:

My user name was Rackrashock on there (I think), and I had a one shot about Gaara from Naruto. ._. It had like, 400 views on it. It was kind of sad.

I forgot exactly how I found Mibba, it was from Google, I think. But I'm so glad I found it and stayed here.

I came from Quizilla. I still get on it every once in a while. I joined Quizilla after the change, so I didn't realize how awesome it was before it got jacked up.

I found Mibba because a really good author on Quizilla said that she was moving to here. About a year later, I finally checked this place out, and hated it. Mostly because it was so different.

Needless to say, I adore it now. In Love

I had so many accounts on Quizilla because I always forgot my emails and passwords. I came here because my last account there was getting hacked.

That was before the the rush of people from the site came here though. I'd been lurking in the forums before that just didn't make an account right away.

I'm still a user on Quizilla, however, I often go months without posting or even visiting the site.
There are many thoughts/opinions of the downfall, if you will, of Quizilla.
One thought of mine is the new owners simply don't care about the site, thus don't bother to upkeep and improve it really, on any level. A waist of time, money and the like, honestly.

I've recently came from Quizilla for a few reasons.

1.) Everybody was coming here or bigger writing sites
2.) The site was getting crappy, like so many broken links and such
3.) The only people left on Quizilla are writers who can critic work, so it wasn't helping me any when I wasn't getting any criticism to improve and learn upon
4.) I was getting annoyed with stories that has the worst grammar in the world getting all these high reviews and ratings

Though still involved some, I'll probably within the year make a final switch to here.

EDIT- I know right, ever since TeenNick got it, it's gone down hill. I've been a member of quizilla for two years, for two years Quizilla displayed about updating the profiles and returning a homepage link to add links to youtube channels and such, in two years they never updated it

I'm fairly certain Viacom bought Quizilla with the intention of killing it, and having failed to sufficiently draw off Quizilla users to their other sites, they keep it around for ad revenue. They probably make money per impression (view), more per click of course, but clicking isn't necessary. So all it has to do is sit there.

Since they already must have massive servers hosting all their other sites, it really doesn't cost them anything extra to leave Quizilla online in all its buggy glory. After all, why pay somebody to fix Quizilla when you can make money off it as is, without having to spend profits on maintenance?

Fixing Quizilla would be a waste of time and money for them.

    I'm still pro Quizilla.
    Pretty much just the forums.
There are some awesome people there.

    Revival anyone?
((Despite the fact that the new owners aren't doing their part))

^ Maybe things on Quizilla have changed since I left (late 2007-early 2008), but when I was there, the forums had the bitchiest and most stuck up people I've ever met before on a message board. It was all drama, drama, drama with those users, and no one getting punished for bashing other members.

Well tons of people have left so it's really just a bunch of the vets...
Seeing how so few people are active over there it has become a lot nicer and more about community and revival...
There are still a few who aren't the nicest but honestly it is impossible to fully escape that.
We're really trying to make Quizilla a better place :)

@ One Amahira: I agree to the killing theory. Nevertheless, it still makes me curious of Quizilla's future, whether it be a few months from now or years.
    We shall see.

@ such.sweet.sorrow: I'm pro Quizilla as well, but more specifically for the forums. Since I've been a member, that's where I've spent the most time. Every once in a while I'll search for a story to peruse, but I haven't found a decent one in some time.

These days, it's rare for new members to stick around, but we have had a small batch with potential at least.

@ Rocket Queen: such.sweet.sorrow is correct, the forums have mellowed out and cooled off a great deal since then. The threads I generally post/lurk in don't appear to contain much "hostility" anymore.

I was member of Quizilla, and I loved it so much it was great and I was friends with a ton of people. Plus like most people I had fun on the site, because me and my best friend both had accounts and did stuff on it. Then when it went changed I tried it out and tried to get use to it, but I hated it, then I went for a while without a site at all until my friend found, Mibba. Where she sort of forced me to get an account so we could do stuff on here like we did on Quizilla, and I love Mibba, it's great, even though my friend never gets on anymore. Although I do miss Quizilla sometimes, and I still get on every once in a while, but only so I can finish this story I started before they changed it.

I came over from Quizilla too sometime in 2009. For awhile I was still going on
Quizilla every week but then I stopped. I was reading someone's story and they said they were moving to Mibba and might only continue their story on here and I wanted to finish reading the story so I made an account on here. They did finish writing their story on Quizilla but I also came over here because of the lack of feedback. It felt like on Quizilla there were the same people getting all the feedback and it was frustrating not to hear anything on whatever I had posted. I had some good friends on there but I have other ways to talk to them now so I don't really go on Quzilla anymore. The only thing I go on there for is to take some of the quizzes when I get bored :P I'm glad I'm on mibba now!

I don't remember when I made my mibba account exactly, but any story updates I do I post them here though. Whenever I have free time I post it to Quizilla in case anyone's still reading it there though. But whenever I go there it's mostly for the forums. As great as mibba is (and I do mean that), I don't have the heart to abandon my banner shoppe on Quizilla. It was my first and only one, and it's been around for over 3 years.
