Working and going to school full time is definitely a challenge. I’m always stressed with finishing assignments and keeping my grades up. I know in a few months I’m probably gonna have to cut back on some work hours because that’s when my actual RT classes begin. I’m just doing general ed classes at the moment so it’s not so bad, thankfully!

Hahaha thank you! <3 It’s been almost a month now with him and so far so good. The situation gets a little complicated sometimes because he does have a baby, and there’s a ton of baby momma drama. But he doesn’t keep anything from me so that helps! We’ll see how it goes! =D
Now, the whole trouble with the law.. I managed to get caught drinking and driving- which is stupid and really could’ve been avoided, but here we are. So I have a DUI on my record at the moment. Been trying to get everything fixed and pay what I need to since then. =/

Haha aww, I still remember the first couple versions I read of it and how absolutely in love I was, so I’m not too worried if you’re not focusing on it at the moment. =)

I’ve gotten myself into a Respiratory Therapy program. So far I’m still doing my General Ed’s, but the classes are killing me. It’s hard to juggle that and working full time. I don’t know how people do it. I’m always exhausted haha.

Wouldn’t that be perfect! Write a great novel (which I know you can totally do!) and you’re set! =P I honestly had no idea what I wanted to go to school for either. I just knew I didn’t want to be a CNA anymore, but from what I know of RT, it sounds like I’ll really enjoy it. You’ll find something perfect for you! =)

Life hasn’t been treating me too bad, to be honest. It’s been a good year for me overall, or I’d like to believe so. Got myself into a little trouble with the law, but I’m taking care of that! And I also managed to- very recently- get myself a boyfriend. Can you believe it? My first one ever, i don’t know what to do with him! haha

I’ve been good! Just recently started school and haven’t really had time for extra things, especially spending time online to read. I’ve been reminded how much I miss it, and I’ll definitely be trying a little harder to spend more time on that. How have you been?

Well, just keep applying for whatever you find or whatever interests you. I hate when jobs will specify that they're looking for xxx amount of experience. Just because someone has never worked in that field before doesn't mean they'll be terrible at it. And how is someone expected to get experience if they're never given a chance to try, you know?

Oh God. High school. Sometimes I feel like it would be awesome to go back and just have a huge do-over. And the rest of the time I think I wouldn't go back to those shit-hole years even if I was paid for it :P

I am sorry to hear things aren't well with your job though. Sometimes it's just time to move on, no matter how much you love the job and/or people you work with. Sounds like you didn't need anyone else telling you what you already knew in your gut. Have you applied to a lot of other places already?

Yes, Canada uses the dollar :P And it's pretty terrible right now. I think? I honestly haven't paid much attention to it in the last little while. It was so good for the longest time and then it dropped and so did my hopes and dreams for travelling hahahaha I always say that I need to win the lottery! At this point I'm not sure which is more easy to do: win money or find a decent sugar daddy ;P

I'm still living at home! It bothered me for a while but now I'm kind of like 'meh'. I know I wouldn't be able to afford living alone (contrary to what a lot of people seem to think, nurses don't make a lot of money - and eff all the taxes!) and I'm paying all the bills in this house anyway so what's the point, you know? Plus I do love this house. All things considered, moving out is now way down on my list of priorities.

So are you saying I shouldn't have Australia on my 'places to visit' list? :P

But like, why does travelling have to be so expensive?! Flights and lodging and transport, and food and necessities and some places you have to pay to see, AND THEN exchange rates...it is so ridiculous. I don't know how some people afford to travel literally all the time. I feel like I either need to work myself into the ground to save, or I need to win the lottery. Or find myself a sugar daddy XD

I haven't done much travelling either, just to Vegas and Chicago. And places within Canada, of course, which I would like to do more of. As much as I'd LOVE to go to Europe - and I do plan to, one day - I feel like I should see more of my own country first. I hate flying! I get SO anxious, it's awful. I don't know how people do it all the time lol I've only been on a boat on the lake a few times but I've never been sick. I think that counts? Meeting/visiting friends met online is honestly the best though. I hope you can do it one day :)

Exactly! Reunions are just pointless now that everyone and their dog has social media. Like if I REALLY wanted to know what the people I graduated with are doing with their lives, all I have to do is Facebook/instagram stalk them and call it a day. No need for awkward small talk or anything :P

I've been alright. Working, trying to save money for travelling/getting my own place but things just keep happening that I have to pay for lol. This adulting thing, dude, I've had about enough :P I've been trying to write here and there too but nothing that's worth really doing anything with yet.
