Any time? So, before I go to my grandparents' or after I return? I'm a little confused on that matter.
Yes, and everything is within a few miles radius of Union Station as well. I'm not sure about the Chicago Bean though. I didn't get to see that when I visited Chicago. The Art Institute, Buckingham Fountain, Ed Debevics, the Sears Tower, and all the fabulous mile is all right there. :)
I planned on mailing my application, most likely tomorrow.
Mail takes about three days to get to the Chicago area, or at least it did when I sent some stuff to my friend up there. :)
Okay, cool. I'm excited about seeing it. I've seen pictures and it looks really awesome and huge! Are you interested in seeing any of the things I mentioned? Like, going up the Sears Tower? It is the tallest building in America. :D I think it's around $20 or $30 for a ticket though. :/
Yes, that does sound like a good deal, but like you said, be sure to find out how legit they are before spending money. :) Also, we still need to find out about checking in underage.
I've never ridden one alone, but in Tokyo we rode plenty of trains, subways, and buses. I'm guessing it's somewhat similar in Chicago. It shouldn't be too bad. I'd be a lot more worried if I was going alone, rather than with a friend. Safety and confidence in numbers.
