Hey there! Thanks for the comment on my poem. :) And you nailed it, I too thought of it as a song as I was writing it up. I'm glad I'm not the only one haha !
Thanks for the comment on One Thousand Doors! You've brightened my day yet again, haha. :) That's the kind of thing I've always dreamed of, too, actually. Every time I go walking in the woods, I like to close my eyes and imagine that the next two trees I walk between are some kind of gateway.
Anyway, thanks again. That poem took a long time to write, and I must have tweaked every stanza a hundred times, so it's lovely to hear that you like it! :D
Thanks for commenting on The Dancing Bones! :) Maybe I will send a few poems in to some magazines, who knows? Or I might publish another collection, whenever I have enough work worthy of publishing.
Thank you very much for the poem comment. I was having a bad day, but you made it better. I love knowing people appreciate my work. I don't write as often as I used to, but I still give it a shot. :)
Thanks for your comments! You always fluff up my ego, haha. :) But seriously, I really really appreciate your comments. I go through a lot of times feeling like I'm an absolutely terrible writer, and like I should just give up. So every time you leave comments like that, it's really really awesome and makes me feel inspired to keep writing. I just wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciate that you've commented so often and so kindly. Thank you. :) (And sorry for being super cheesy and awkward right there, I've just been really frustrated lately and yeah.)
And thanks for pointing out the difficulties with the layout on Dreams of Swallows. I added a translucent background for the words, so hopefully it's easier to read now!
hello! thank you for the poem comment. I love that you were pulled into it! most people get confused when reading my pieces especially my teacher who i wrote it for as an assignment for my British literature class as an elegy.
Thanks for commenting on my profile instead. I'm very glad to hear what you thought of the poem! I went and checked out the error you pointed out (another thanks for that, as well) and I'll get that fixed up. Thanks again. :)
