I'm back from the dead. And I've resurrected a few of my stories with me. And I just updated it again. I do hope you enjoy the continued escapades of the Idiots in London.
Hello there! Thank you for your comments on How I Would Survive the Hunget Games and The Experiment Revolution. Very amusing and I loved them Also, thanks especially for pointing out that Terra saw a photo even though she's blind. I missed that part and I'll change it as soon as I can!
Goodness indeed!! It's been quite some time so I knew I would have to impress you!
Just forget about the chapter you're working on and write a new one. That's what works for me! Clearly the idea isn't worth being committed too. But these two are
!!! Oh my goodness hello! Thank you so much for those comments, they really made my day! Haha.
I've actually been working on the next chapter of Teal for a few months; I've had this horrid case of writer's block for almost two years now and it's driving me insane. I'm not quite sure how to shake it.
I'm glad you seemed to mostly enjoy it--aside from Ms. Costello--Which I find rather amusing. I have plans for her, and I quite like them as well as her. Probably because I know exactly what I want to do with her while she's just... a conversation to everyone else at the moment.
As for the other story!!
Those are some... brainchildren I've had hovering around on and off for my two year creativity spell. They won't leave. I've decided her name is Ix; the ninth subject in a line of people experimented on as an attempt to create a "perfect" human. Obviously, that more or less backfired. I'm tempted to call him Juno, but I'm not quite sure about that one. He's an experiment of the biological kind, I believe. I have things I want to do with them, but, I'm not quite sure how to approach it.
Regardless, thank you so much for the comments and then listening to me ramble here! I'm so so glad to hear from you!!!
The assignment was for one of my college classes and the teacher encouraged us to push our limits and boundaries. So when he told me what he thought of it today, he said it was really good and he was intrigued by it. I ended up getting 100/100.
Since this was just a short work and I had a page limit for class, I finished off the story so it could pass off as complete, but also so I could be able to go back to it if I decide to really finish it. And I really appreciate your critique!
@ AlysonRay Hey! No problem, it was an interesting review. Although you know my critism of the book ;) I was a little obsessed with that type of storyline too. I got into vampire academy, but it got too drawn on so I stopped reading. I can't stand stories that just continue for no reason >.<.
haha i'm glad you're seeing it too. I studied sociology so I usually analyze what I'm reading and find similarities pretty quickly. I also took professional writing, so of course, I'm always critcal of cliches....and find those pretty quick too.
This story line (that I also really got addicted to before) usually has an all knowing female lead, which is kinda hard to continue reading after a while...there's no surprises.
Hey, thanks for commenting on my review of Evermore!
I do agree that its similar to Twilight, but I like books like that. I've read all of them and I can agree that the crazy obsession with having to sleep together gets old, but it's what the goal of the series is, I guess. Ya know, to live happily ever after?
I am just now putting two and two together, with the red head (Victoria) in Twilight and also the person (Drina) out to kill Ever is a red head... I don't think Alyson Noel set out to copy the Twilight Saga, but there is no denying that they're similar.
Alyson Noel has a book from Ever's sisters, Riley's point of view. I started that the other day.
I'm just drawn to books like this. Like the Twilight Saga, The Immortal Series and I was in love with The House of Night series. It's just the type of story line I love.
Oh my God, congratulations sis! :D That's such awesome news! So, was the marriage arranged or was it love? Haha, just curious, I'm not prying or anything. (: I saw, I'll check it out now. And really, things have gotten too busy here as well. I hope you manage to break through! I'm fine, how about you?
@ Tipsy Returns Oh my gosh I've missed you my dear little sister. My other sister got married and I been busy working! I finally wrote something today after months! I'm trying to become myself?.. Instead of a robot. How are you!?
