Casper has been a Dreamer for the last two years, and it is the first place he's truly felt he belongs. He was one of the few Dreamers who asked to sign up, and has enjoyed it ever since. However, there have always been a few small things missing, such as a girlfriend. So when he meets Amy, despite what he says, he is very reluctant to even contemplate letting her leave.

Phil is one of the first Dreamers Amy meets, and one that she likes the least. With a naturally rebellious streak inside him that, according to the government, needed 'stamping out,' Phil's upbringing was tough, so he tends to have a darker sense of humour than most, and his love for heavy music and dark clothes make him seem rather scary to Amy.
