Why is it that we authors can break Ryan so often and it still hurts like a bitch everytime we read it? And Gerard drinking. And Spencer as the Grim Reaper. And... I'm actually slightly confused, but I think I understand. I'll figure out for certain if I'm right by the time Brendon turns 21, I'm certain.

It's an amazing chapter. Very short. Very... emotion-driven and not so... action driven even though the emotions are shown by the actions.

Sweet, impossibly beautiful chapter. Let us remember that through any disaster or twist or plot development, they're still them, and they still love each other. You described that feeling, of everything seeming so alright even when it's not just because you're with someone who makes you forget.

I love how you can include so much of their individual quirks and personality in every fucking chapter, instead of simply focusing on plotline and emotion. You really give your characters their own stories entwined with the main and it's . . . wow.

I like the part where Gerard is telling Ryan that going public doesn't make them different people. Because it does seem like that would be a flitting, almost underlying, thought.
