Seriously though, it was a good ending. Short and sweet. It's nice to see that Rania has moved on with her life and is spending more time with her friends and being a normal teenage girl. And although Brian is gone, the fact that she still feels her presence from time to time is extremely sweet and touching - also that she sits on the stairs to "feel" him. I thought it would have been cool though, if, when she was in her room, she saw the computer chair move on its own. Haha. That would have been cute.
Anywho, this was wrapped up perfectly. I definitely feel like I have closure from this story
I am glad to say that I had the great pleasure of reading a story that was put together with great care and that held my attention through it all. Thank you for writing such a wonderful story.
Aha, I actually had a feeling that that was how Brian had died ever since it was first mentioned that Rania felt uncomfortable on those stairs - and now this has confirmed it. :) Still, it was really sad that he went after Michelle even after he'd died and she couldn't see him.
Soooo, I hope he gets the closure he needs in the upcoming chapters!
Aw, man! Such a cliffhanger! I honestly cannot wait to see what Michelle tells Rania about what happened to Brian because I'm getting so dang anxious, like you wouldn't believe! It was so sweet when Brian saw his son again for the first time in seven years and it was cool the way you described that Michelle was almost able to feel Brian's presence - and that he was trying to make himself appear to her.
I'm glad you're excited about the story again because I remember you weren't so much a couple of weeks ago. ;)
You're killing me! I loved how Brian was razzing her about not doing Hallowe'en at her place, it was as if he was a child teasing one of his friends. The scene with Michelle, oh my gosh... I felt my heart drop into my stomach. It was so heart-wrenching, but gorgeously written. I'm glad Brian's finally getting closer to closure.
