It was so adorable when Brian was basically lecturing Rania about not falling behind in her studies. He sounds like such a dad when he does that. XD Hopefully she can find something - anything - about his death and get to the bottom of it quick smart!
I literally lawled when I read the part about Brian materializing in his favourite spot, the swiveling computer chair. XD And when he casually just walked past Amrita without her even noticing him when they left the house.
I was all aaaawwwww when he was visiting the grave and talking about maybe there not being anything on the other side for him and being a ghost was like still being alive. I hope that there's a happy ending and not a sad depressing one. XD
It was so funny that Brian was spinning around on the chair like a little kid at the beginning of the chapter. XD It made him seem so boyish.
Aww his memory is a little fuzzy but at least he can remember some things, right? I hope he gets his memory back soon. Maybe he'll go some place that will jog his memory and he'll remember what happened? That's what I'm guessing.
Also, in the flashback you mentioned the name Kate when I think you were talking about Brian's son? I got a little confused at that part. XD
Nyaw it was so cute the way that Brian tried to make himself known so that Rania wouldn't look like such a huge loser to her friends XD Especially when he sat down on the chair. That part had me cracking up for some reason. Then how he was so down about not being able to show himself, I just wanted to give him a big ol' hug!
Wonder what's going to happen to make her friends believe more.
Hmm... methinks Brian might have died on that staircase that Rani gets such a strange feeling walking up and down.
I loved the idea that Brian can't remember how he died. That one minute he was alive and the next he wasn't. It's entirely how I imagine dying might be like. I thought it was interesting.
Can't wait to see what Brian does next! I wonder if he'll try and make himself known to Rania's parents? They can't deny there's no ghosts, then, haha.
He should go all poltergeist on them and start fling chairs across the room. Surely, even if you don't believe in ghosts, you can't miss a flying chair?? = )
As always, I LOVED IT!! Mhm. I have very much missed your writing = ) and finding that you'd updated twice was a great pick me up from my horrible day = ( So I thank you for that ducky!! x
