Poor Garrett. I mean he's already been grieving, and now he's going to have to deal with John probably hating him, and probably lectures and concerned talks with his friends about everything. I just feel so bad for him. Update soon, I'm glad your updating again!
I just recently found this story, so I don't know how it was before you rewrote it, but with that being said, I enjoy it a lot thus far! I can't wait to see how things unfold, and how it was she passed away, and how Garrett does, or doesn't heal. Can't wait for more! Update soon(:
So I just found this and I have no idea how you were taking it before, but I like how this is going now. I love tragic stories–call me morbid, but if someone is dead, it just makes the story all the more interesting.
Agh! I was so happy for a moment when Garrett showed up and gave his little speech, about her being wrong an whatnot. And I even thought it was sort of cute that he was jealous of John. But then he had to I and fuck it all up with that sloppy kiss. I feel so bad for Allison, because that little encounter is probably going to make her feel even worse than what she's already going through. And Garrett talking about John not deserving her ... He should analyze himself, first. I can't wait for more! (:
i love this story. i'm too tired after so many hours of work to form a coherent sentence, so i'll just stick with the words "love", "adore" and "nngngnnfggg<3".
And drunk Garrett made me sad. And angry. It was just so...nice to see them finally talking - not arguing - and then he had to go and be a douchebag. Allison and John just aren't the same as Allison and Garrett.
I loved this chapter, honestly. I think it was an important look into Allison's feelings. I could understand how she'd regret throwing the bracelet at Garrett, because it's significant to their friendship - it's more than just a 'bracelet'. I can't wait until the next chapter when, hopefully, she'll talk to Garrett and get things sorted out! (:
Loved it, as usual. I'm happy that Allison is finally out of her room and ready to face the world. The part about the bracelet was really sweet too. A lot of stuff in this chapter made me smile. :)
I never really like Roxie, but seeing her want to try and help him was sweet (: Garrett really is good for Allison. I have my fingers crossed for them to sort things out.
I know this is probably . . . I don't know the word, lol, but I just imagine myself as being 'Roxie' in the story. I guess 'cause it's my name, I don't know. Lol. But I'm glad that Garrett turned to someone else, outside of his usual group, for advice, because he Needed to hear the truth, and not just what someone would think he wanted to hear. Even if didn't get him very far, it still was good for him to hear that. I have no clue what to expect next. You always surprise me! Lol. (:
I actually really liked this chapter, even if not much happened. Garrett going to Roxie, someone he otherwise seems to avoid when possible, kind of made the situation with Allison more real. It's like, if he's going to Roxie of all people, you know things are going to shit and that something's obviously not right. It brought into perspective how much he really does care for Allison, and almost how much he wants to fix their problems. Great chapter!
"...but you would have to be blind to miss the sheer beauty of that boy." GARRETT IS BEAUTIFUL. :)
the awkwardness of that chapter was intense. then i was happy that garrett actually talked to someone. even if it was roxie, who i'm starting to kind of like. update soon!
Lousy? Not at all. It was a really good chapter. Wow, I can't believe she's starting to favor John over Garrett. And in the meanwhile, their friendship is deteriorating. That makes me sad D: update soon! -Lily
Crap? This chapter was crap? Nuh-uh. Not even close! I thinkthat the ending with Garrett and Allison was necessary; I feel like there was so much they needed to say, but there wasn't really any reason for them to talk about it until the whole thing with John. I do, however, think that Garrett's reaction was a little over the top. I can't and Garrett shouldn't blame Allison for wanting to find comfort in someone else. I mean, she needed someone to talk to and Garrett wasn't exactly there to talk, so she naturally went to someone else.
If that was a "bad" update, I can't wait to see what a good one is!
