I just wanted to say, esp after all our chats yesterday, that this was always going to be one of those perspectives that might be tricky to hit right.... and I forgot I was talking to you, seeing as OF COURSE you hit it spot on - setting the scene, the scenario and perfectly getting in the head of a 20 year old boy. I mean, you NEVER have issues with being exactly spot on every time with either characterisations or getting in those characters' heads.

Other than that, can I just agree with PensRock?? On everything?? LOL. Great chapter!

Great use of the 9 seconds thing and the analysis was brilliant! Either my hormones are way over active or Kerrie is an idiot. 8 months with Luke Schenn and nothing? Well a little something for her but come on...

I’ve got nothing against the guy; he’s a fierce competitor and he’s not only got some of the sickest moves I’ve ever seen, but is the greatest player in the game in my honest opinion. He’s even made me look like a complete and utter ass on the ice too many times to accurately count; there’s nothing like the humiliation you feel when a five foot nothing runt is able to school you when you’ve got a few inches and at least twenty five pounds up on him. Love the Sid plug, As much as I like Luke, Sid is still Sid, and for anyone reading this comment if you aren't reading her Sid story, Knights in Slightly Tarnished Armor, you are seriously missing out. (Sorry for that ;-) I just had to say it.)

Sometimes the end result isn’t the most important thing; it’s the emotions that are shared between two people that make the finale so goddamn incredible. Other times it’s simply a means to an end; a quick, no strings attached, no holds barred fuck can do wonders when you’re pissed off about something that happened at the rink or the coach has gotten under your skin one too many times and you can’t exactly punch him in the fucking face. - - This my dear is the perfect explanation as to why a 20 year old hockey player needs sex. I just want to say again that if Kerrie likes the attention she gets from luke (and the thought of that attention is way too hot to imagine) then she needs to put out too! Guess I'm not much of a feminist huh.

Girlfriend or not, I’m a nineteen year old with raging hormones and an almost constant hard on and a hot girl is a hot girl. I may not necessarily act on the urges, but checking someone out and chatting them up isn’t one of the seven deadly sins. - - Oh Luke, holding her ass in your hands though, that might be a deadly sin :D. I totally love Luke's POV. He's so horny and adorable at the same time. And funny as hell.

“Well I guess it’s a good day for both of us that you decided to be all touchy feeling,” she teases, and I feel an uncharacteristic flush take over my cheeks and the tips of my ears. - - I have a feeling Luke hasn't seen anything yet and Kay-Cee is going to be a lot to handle. Luke's little girlfriend isn't going to know what hit her.

Love the update, and of course I want more soon. It should go without saying really, but just in case there is any doubt in your mind... PLEASE!!!! (That's me begging. Oh and you made me want more Sid now too. I'm just saying.)

Loved it. Kay-Cee is so gonna be a great OC, I can tell. And the story itself is gonna be awesome. I could tell that after the first chapter. Loved this chapter in Luke's POV. Looking forward to more.

The back story of the affair and broken marriage in Vancouver is really intriguing. How sick am I that I find the affair and break-up of a marriage intriguing. Oh well, I guess you know the real me anyway.

Love the description of the cities, Vancouver vs Toronto. Having never been either place it's nice to know these little nuances.

Hindsight is twenty-twenty, of course. And it’s always easier to sit back after you’ve created a disaster and dissect the way you’d handled things and come up with a better game plan. But the heart doesn’t work that way when you’re lost in the moment. I don't know what it is about this, but I totally love this. It's why when we're love sick we just do what we do, even if we know it's totally wrong.

What a way to meet Luke Schenn! Her ass in his hands, nice. Is that a sign of what's to come? I hope so, but you know me.
