New Perspective - Comments

It's adorable how eager they are to spend time with each other. I'd love to hear about Alex's perspective on this excursion with Zack. But alas, he has to go on that double date. Since he isn't very enthusiastic about it, I'm curious to find out how it'll go.

Usually I don't like stories written when the band is in high school but I made an exception when I saw that it was actually a story about Zack for once.

And let me just say that this story is epically amazing and I love it very much :)

Update quickly and if you need to bounce ideas off of anyone, I'm your girl :)

“Andrew, he’s not going to talk to you unless your name is Alex,” Nick announces as he walks into the kitchen. He smirks at Zack.

Zack, however, isn’t bothered so much by the ridiculous accusation,

*gasps*
That is NOT ridiculous!
It's the plain truth!

“So, who’s this Alex person?”

Zack freezes, his mouth open and his eyes trained on the refrigerator. He thought for sure that Nick’s statement earlier would go unnoticed.

Not a chance!

“This stupid boy who refuses to leave me alone.”

Zack’s statement immediately sets Andrew off, concern filling his voice as he asks, “Do you mean he’s bothering you? At school? Did you say something to your teachers?”
“No, no I don’t mean it like that!”

“Well….then how did you mean it?”

He means that he's denying his all time love for Alex and keeps calling him a stalker just to add to his slowly disappearing denial.

He makes a scene of leaving the room dramatically, stomping up the steps and to his bedroom. Once he’s sitting comfortably on his bed, he grabs his cell phone and calls Alex.

“Hello?”

Zack bites his lip at the sound of Alex’s voice over the phone, but he forces himself to speak, “H-hey, Alex? It’s Zack.”

“Oh, hey. What’s up?”

“Well I um… I was just calling ‘cause… I sort of need a favor.”

“Sure, what is it?”

“I need a ride somewhere…Well, two places, actually. You don’t have to, I was just-”

“Absolutely. When should I pick you up?”

I love how in real life he used to be thin and scrawny and then he discovered....*amazed voice.* The Gym!! *angels singing* hahahah and now he works out constantly! still love him!

Although I think it would be nice if Alex drove Zack to the gym, I'm not sure if he'd be able to keep his mouth shut if he needed to take him to therapy as well. This could mean that
A) Alex will inadvertently make Zack uncomfortable, or
B) Zack will open up about the issue, or
C) a little bit of both.

I'm excited to read it whichever way it unfolds.
