So I love this story. Like, I will give you my first born if you update soon, that sort of love. It's creepy, undying love.
But! I have a single issue with this gorgeous yarn you've woven: gender and sex are two completely different things. Gender is mental, sex is biologically derived. The reasons the two terms are used interchangeably are because the majority of society's genders match their sex (cisgender) and that sex is seen as a dirty/naughty word, like vagina and penis and people in turn use gender as a euphemism for sex.
So Jackie could just be a genderqueer/gender binary nonconforming person who happens to have male or female genitals.
... Awkward comment is hella awkward.
Anyways, keep writing and eventually show us anxious readers, kthnxbye!

This comment is probably going to be short and pointless but I'm leaving it anyways. I think this was one of the first stories I started reading on here and I was surprised to see it in my subscriptions list. Do you plan on finishing it or posting the final chapters? This comment would be more meaningful if I remembered anything about the story but I have no issue with rereading it. It's one of my favorites and probably the only one that I've read since joining that I still enjoy.

Oh my God, you are a great writer. I started reading this a few years ago and then I ended up losing my spot because I was never good with keeping track of where I was in online stories and I decided to read it again a week ago, I'm so glad I did that. Your writing style is so great, I feel more like I'm reading a published work than a fanfiction half the time. I got so into reading it but I wanted to try to space the chapters out so that I wouldn't read it all at once, that didn't work. I just wanted to read chapter after chapter and find out what happened next. It's also so hilarious at times, I started reading it when my roommate was out of the room because I'd be sitting here grinning like an idiot over something stupid Evan did. I'm anxious to know what happens next.

I could relate to this chapter like you have no idea, especially with Evan and Anna. I could feel that overwhelming sensation gnawing at my stomach as the couple sat down and talked things through.

I'm so glad that you posted this chapter, even if you were not quite sure of it (as stated on your link), because it's perfect. Even if your writing has changed, this one chapter flows perfectly with your past writing and it will evolve as you start posting chapter after chapter, alongside with your characters.

I can't wait for you to finish this. You're the only author I can read through 13+ pages per chapter here and in any other writing community.

Haha, I love you. I literally devoted these last three days to reading from 1-50 and you are just such a good author. You explain everything and I can see how it's happening and why and in what way, and the emotions behind it. It is amazing.

Plus, I don't know if it's intentional, but you are hella' funny. Like, I laughed out right at a minimum of 15 times. Evan <3 And I tihnk it's amazing that you created this band, jackie flores and evan are just these people all of their own, and you are really cool.

It was a good chapter. I just wished that jackie and gerard talked about what was going on instead of just silence. gerard should have been brave and said what was on his mind.

You have no idea how excited I was when I saw the email about this new story. I have sincerely fallen in love with all these characters. Not because there are so many chapters, or because of hype over you. They are so... real, and human, I feel myself connecting with them and cheering them on.

You have a talent for this, and I am really glad that you've decided to share it with this humble community. ♥

A second comment that is much more general than my earlier one about Chapter Fifty. I was thinking about how this story has evolved and in the beginning a lot of it was humour based, although I think it wasn't all intentional. It was still good, but your writing is definitely better now, as you yourself have said, and there is so much real emotion, scenes and events that are relatable. While the humour is still there it's more natural; cropping up because that's just what the characters are like. I don't think you try to be funny, it just happens. And I really like that. I'm not a funny person at all, and I like reading serious stories. I make a bit of an exception here, since it isn't all serious, but what isn't serious is so natural and feels realistic of who the characters are.

I've also noticed that other writers have to force their original characters into situations. They yell at them, bribe them, throw tantrums, et cetera. Your original characters just work. They fit in and mould together beautifully because you really make them three dimensional. They're more than just fillers, they are the important bit of the story. The members of My Chemical Romance fall in around them, not vice-versa, which is really important.

Sorry if this seems really weird, but it occured to me and I figured it might be worth sharing.

How cute is the hide and seek scene? Argh. I love it. Also, the awkwardness between them is so realistic it almost feels awkward to read it as if we're intruding in their lives even more.
