There's no way your writing is going down the drain, I'm still loving this story so much :) so glad you've started updating again.

I'm actually following that story Good Riddance as well, and tbh until you mentioned it, I didn't connect the similarities. I mean, sure, the OC has over protective parents and is restricted and put on lock down, but it's a pretty different story line. Also the author says she's already got 68 chapters written, so I'd guess that means it's not being ripped off yours.

I'm reading a story called Good Riddance about Billie-Joe, but I don't think it's very similar. It is an original character x BJ, and she has over-protective parents and stuff like that.. So in a way I can see the similarities if it is that one story.. But the personalities of Tré, Mike and BJ are pretty different and the scene is more in school than out of school, there's more drugs and stuff involved and hmyea.. If we're talking about the same story, then I don't think it's a rip-off. Maybe they just got some of their inspiration from your story? :}

The whole backstory, with Frank and Jamie....that was great. Seriously.
Can't say i've ever seen that before and it goes along with Billie Joe and Sophie so well! Well, from my point of view it does. Just like Jamie, she's got to admit that she loves BJ.
Adie's out of the way, so all she has to do is say it.

Of course, her parents are another story. But Jamie and BJ are conniving enough to figure that one out ;]

So, I also just began reading this like two days ago. Spent and hour or so reading all the chapters and fell in love with this story. Please please update soon :)

Okay, so I stayed up for three/four hours reading all the chapters so far, mostly because my obsession with Green Day and Billie Joe Armstrong has gotten slightly creepy and I needed to read a fanfic dedicated to him.(:

This is possibly the best Green Day fic on Mibba, mostly because Sophia isn't stereotypical, she knows who she is and I really like her. Her parents are just horrible, seriously they made me so mad in a few of the chapters! ha. I also love how you made Billie Joe in this, with every chapter I was falling more and more in love with him, I had to remind myself it was just a story!(: haha.

Also, I adore Tre. He's actually so funny in this, I had to stop myself laughing out loud because it would wake up my mom and my brother, I want him as a best friend! It was really great how Sophia started to loosen up and relax around Tre, Mike and Billie early on, it wasn't rushed at all and happened just at the right moment.

I really like Jamie, as well, ha. She's super cool.(: And when you introduced the other characters from My Chem I was delieriously happy!

With every chapter I was so excited at the chemistry between Billie Joe and Sophia, I practically awed out loud when they were at the Mexican restaurant and he was like, "You don't have to" at something she said something sarcastic about her appearence.

You are a terrific author, and I'll be constantly checking my inbox to see if you've updated, this story is getting addictive! (: I've subscribed, and will definetely be telling my friends (the Green day crazy ones!) about this story and about you.(:

This story is nothing short of genius. Sorry for rambling and making this comment shockingly long, ha, but I had to express my love for the story!! (:
