Thanks for the great update! I can honestly say that I was on the edge of my metaphorical seat the whole time I read this chapter! I loved how Rian included public urination as one of his guilty charges. That really cracked me up in the midst of the serious speech. I also love how Cilian Rogers used sesquipedalian in his speech. Ugh, what a hypocrite! This story reminds me of V for Vendetta and I love it because I think yours is better (although I'm British and I love the Britishness of V for Vendetta). :D I can't wait for the last chapter and the epilogue. Keep up the great work! :)

OH MAI GOODNESS!

I just came across this story a couple of hours ago, and read it in one sitting, and I was so enthralled that I didn't notice I hit the most recent chapter until the end of it. My reaction: OH MY GOODNESS NOOOOOOOOO WHY IS ENDING NOOOOOW?!

It was getting so good! Holy shit, I am so excited. I haven't read a story that has gotten me this up-in-arms in a VERY long time. I am beating myself up for not finding this sooner. This is entirely brilliant. BRILLIANT I SAY! Then again, I am glad that I found it at this time because it meant that I had more to read and less waiting ><

Oh gods, I have so much to say. Jeez. Okay I am trying to get my thoughts in order. First, the first chapter was totally amazing, and eye-catching, and beautifully written, and interesting, and all of the other wonderful words in the world I can't possibly think of right now. You had me at the title. Seriously. I was smitten before I even realized. There was no escape for me. This is just...wow. Brilliant.

Second, I am so glad I has read up until now. I don't think my heart could handle the anticipation. I thought this was going to be about her 'getting with' Rian. I thought a lot of things actually. I had so many guesses and ideas where this might be going when I was reading it, but every chapter threw a wrench at me. I was always surprised. Every time. I can't remember a story that has made me feel that way. This story was honestly nothing like I expected it to be. And it think it's made it an even greater experience for me.

Third, your characters. Good lord baby jesus, your characters. They are....wow. Okay. It's the same thing with the chapters. I thought I got a feeling of what they were, and what was going to happen, but I was wrong. Valin, I thought he was going to be so different and I am very surprised at how he turned out to be. I am actually relieved he isn't some crazy, evil guy. He seems so....human. xD Same with Rian. I thought he was going to be different. And I am totally not saying this is a bad thing! Please don't get me wrong. I am very surprised and pleased at that. It's hard to surprise me in terms of things like this. So thank you. Thanks for keeping me on my feet, and surprised.

Fourth, your writing is terrific. I am entirely envious. It's....so beautiful! I love your wording and your writing. It's writers like you that make me strive to improve. Seriously. I've read a lot of stories, A LOT, and whenever I come across a truly awesome writer I can't help but fill up with this child-like sense of glee and inspiration. You've made me feel like that tonight. I hope that one day I might be able to turn out something that evokes the same feeling you. I am very honored to come across this.

These past hours have been well spent, as will any hour spent reading this will be. I am so glad I came across this. Thank you for writing this! And even though I haven't known this story very long, I am slightly saddened to see something awesome like this end in two chapters. But on the other hand I am glad to see a great story like this finish.

Anyway, thanks again! This has truly been a pleasure. I look forward to the next couple of chapters, and any other chapters of any other story you happen to write.

Well it's definitely been a while, aha. I saw that you updated a while ago and couldn't exactly place where I left off, so I just read it all over again, aha. And I thoroughly enjoyed it all over again. :D

Gah, I feel like the words are all up in my mind but I don't exactly know how to get them out. I guess I'll start off with I really like the fence metaphor that you use so much, I didn't really mention it in my last comment but I just really liked that theme throughout. Even though you mentioned that you didn't really get a sense for Tania, I think you really did well with her characterization. I like that she doesn't know the right answer immediately and how she tries to play both sides a lot, I know I hate picking sides too and would way rather play Switzerland if anything. But I'm really glad that she finally made the decision, you know? I thought that was really good development in there. And I'm glad she picked the rebel side.

I've actually been in the mood for some gruesome reading (I read the Hunger Games recently so, aha) and this definitely heightened the stakes at the perfect moment. Their entire plan is just so perfect that I adore you for coming up with it. Everything down to the civil war and the machine poor Laura, my god I can't believe she had to go through that. And Tania too! I was just like D: this bitch gotta go now because this is not cool.

I am glad that he is marked Collateral Damage and yes I really liked that, with his earlier comment. I love when a story picks up on things that are usually otherwise swept under the rug and used in a big part of the plot.

Their entire rebellion dynamic too is just awesome. I actually really like Cypher. He is really cool. I mean, he's sort of a dick but that lovable dick type. If that makes sense.

I'm still totally on side with Valin though, I mean Rian is cool but seriously, WHERE IS VALIN AND IF HE DIES I WILL BE SO SAD. I mean, seriously, I am totally fretting about his well being right now in the back of mind. I love the awesomeness of this getting back at them, but Valin. Where are you? D:

Anyways, I am so glad that I finally caught up on this. I'm sort of just rambling now but this really is one of my top two favourite stories that I've ever read on this site.
