Casper wasn't too nice. Scratch that, he simply wasn't nice. Not the greatest first impression. I love that he has a pet wolf though. I'm rather jealous, I love wolves. His house is really well furnished. Seems like he's been living on the island for quite a wile. I like that Oliver refers to him as the Silver Man. Hope he's a bit nicer to Oliver next time. I love that he still worries about Jakob. Sorry I didn't comment last chapter. I've sort of been out of it. Any way, can't wait for more! <3

Hmm... so I'm going to use my predicting skills and predict that this is when he finds Casper! Like the friendly ghost only... not.

Here's your comment as promised.
I love the line "he wondered if you could wonder while you were dead". I love contemplating things like that that have no answer. Pain is a sure sigh that one is still present in the living world. That must have been confusing going from storm tossed waves to solid ground with no recollection of how he got there. I love your description of the wrecked boat resembling the "carcass of a predators kill". You can just see the insides of the cabin spilling from splinted hull. Oh on, not the peanut butter! That's a real shame. It's a good thing he's still thinking clearly after hitting his head. Being able to improvise with what little he's got is probably going to save his live. Improvising has certainly already saved his arm, so long as the bones didn't sever any major arteries or veins. I cringed when he had to set the bone. Setting bones is usually more painful than breaking them in the first place, and to do it without any sort of pain killers. I hope he's able to find fresh water quickly. Two water bottles aren't going to last long even if he is really careful to ration what he does have. Can't wait to see what he finds on his explorations. Hope to find out soon! <3

This is incredible! I love how you described the storm as a wolf. Absolutely beautiful! I hope Oliver isn't too badly injured.
