Ughugh I love this. And I love that you included both of their essays in the end.
I have a little more than half an hour before I have to leave for class.
I didn't read the newspaper. I didn't do work due tomorrow.
I was hoooked. And now I'm disappointed that I have to wait until later to read the sequel.

I just finished reading this entire story and I need to tell you...
I absolutely loved it.
It was heartbreaking, heart-warming, everything that a story should be.
Gabe's suicide was something I really didn't expect, but it twisted the story perfectly.
Eli and Alex's relationship is very strange, the chemistry is totally there, thoughhh.
I seriously cannot wait for the sequel!
You definitely have a subscriberrr in me.

i just finished reading this...i loved it, honestly, so very much. i'll be honest, it was very hard for me to read it, but in the end, this is definitely something i will definitely remember over the typical high school love. you have an amazing talent in writing. keep it up :]

Trish, what a beautiful ending to an even more beautiful story.
I can't believe it's all over, it seems only recently I discovered this piece of brilliance.
But you do not understand how amazing this story was, even though every one has told you and reassured you a thousand times, haha.
I can't tell you how glad I am that it ended the way it did either, because words cannot explain. I was kind of worried that they'd get together in this story, but I love how they didn't, I think that that just MADE this story. The fact that it wasn't they typical 'Hey, guess what? I'm in love with you.' kind of thing. It just made it all the more real and able to connect to, and I can honestly say that I am completely envious of your talent at writing, however incredibly glad that you possess such a talent, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to have read this story and be as moved as I am right now.
And the whole story just reflects on the writer as well, keep that in mind ;)
Thank you for all the smiles, laughs, tears and aww moments that you provided me with, and I can't wait until the sequel .

It's over! I can't believe it's really over! Those last two chapters were amazing and so beautifully written! It truly was a journey, one I hope you have the motivation to continue. I really did like the ending because like you said, it's open minded. But I love that you're writing a sequel because I feel like there's so much more to Eli and Alex's friendship now that we can call it a friendship. I'm excited and can't wait for the first chapter of the sequel!
