I completley understand.
I'm a freshman in college and i know i won't be updating as much as i used to in the summer, so being a senior in college must be tough. I'm so sorry about your mom..my best wishes go out to her. :)
Now on to the chapter......
you have no idea how happy i was to actually read a chapter where Eli and Alex weren't bickering back and forth haha.
I feel like now that Alex opened up to Eli about Daniel a little bit, it will become easier and easier for them to talk and not hold that bitterness they had against each other, you know?
I'm so happy that they are finally friends and i feel like Eli is beginning to know the real Alex Gaskarth.
Looking forward to the next update :)

Out of my Alex-is-such-a-jerk-and-I-hate-him phase and I remember why I'm almost always in my I-frickin-love-Alex-Gaskarth-because-he-is-so-sweet phase.
Even though he's not exactly "sweet" yet-but he's working on it.

Wow this story is soo good!
I hate/love Alex right now. I just don't get how he goes from nice to asshole so quickly, and most of the time with no reason at all!
Suicide is so hard to deal with and its super hard to go through and I feel so bad for Eli. It's like she's being pulled in out of this guilt sadness and anger. I really hope she and Alex talk about their experiences becuase I think thats going to help their relationship so much (:

What I read all that in just under 2 hours and I got to the end of chapter 9 and then no more. What??? When is the rest coming?

I loved the subtle hat dissing, sometimes I wonder why Mr Barakat wears them to the side as well, but obviously it's because he's so badass hahahah

'“I heard someone cursing the Bro Code.”

“That was me,” Eli said, holding a hand up.

“You don't diss on the Bro Code,” Jack said.

“Well, then maybe your bro shouldn't be so difficult,” Eli snapped.

Jack shrugged. “I don't control Alex. No one does.”'

Loving how a couple of chapters ago Jack like scolded Alex for saying that last bit, and now he's repeating it. hahahahha, that took a lot of convincing :| :)

I'm kind of happy where this is going now that they're all nice to each other, I can't help but presume that they're both going to help each other change for the best. I predict that Eli will become more herself with Alex's encouragement, I liked how he brought light to the fact that she doesn't even like being a cheerleader, and that she shouldn't waste her time if it's not making her happy. I also think that Alex will gradually become less and less of an asshole, as seen in this chapter :)
But I can't help to think back to a chapter right at the beginning where Lisa foreshadowed a little something something ;) but maybe I'm reading too much into this haha.
But for drama and sequel's sake, I hope what I am thinking is going to happen happens :)
and speaking about sequels, woooooo it's up and posted, now you just need to get around to the chapter part ;) (how embarrassing if you had the sequel posted before this and I never noticed until now haha)

I am so happy you are writing a sequel for this story because i was really sad when you mentioned there was only three chapters left :( but now i'm happy since there will be a sequel! :) lol
My favorite part was when Eli followed Alex to wherever he decided to go. It was awesome that they actually had a normal conversation. I mean, they have that one thing in common where their brothers committed suicide so they both understand how the other feels you know?
I'm glad that Eli is opening up to Alex more about Gabe and as she is Alex is telling her things that she didn't know about him. He also brought out a different side of him that i didn't think Eli had ever seen before..you know conveying the message that do what you love, do what you have a passion for because if you're only doing what other people want you to do, like Eli cheerleading, then it's not going to be fun for you. So i'm hoping that Eli cuts him some slack and sees that he can be a nice person when he wants to be lol.
I think this whole writing a paper about each other will really help them find out different things that they didn't know before about one another and they will be able to open up to each other more instead of always bickering back and forth at one another. lol. Great idea! :)
Can't wait for the next chapter!
