Grey Wolf Mountain - Comments

I meant to comment on this much sooner but forgot.

I am sad to see that Grey is truly dead. There, I can admit it now, even though it still really sucks. I'm not gonna lie, I did almost cry when Ava discovered his body. Almost. It was just too sad, I mean she'd come to terms with Grey attacking her, realized her love for him was stronger for her hate for the wolf that attacked her and then tragedy strikes her life once more.
Ava really is such a strong person. I don't think I could handle half the shit destiny has tossed her way. It really does seem like too much for any one person to handle.
First she's attacked and turned into a wolf. Then she kills her parents because she's having trouble controlling her wolf. And then she finds a pack, and as luck would have it, the man she's destined to be with. And then the mother of all cherries to top it all off! Grey admits he's the one who attacked her all those years ago. She gets over that bombshell only to find him dead at the fangs of Logan. Seriously, how much more can she go through before she snaps and turns rogue or something???
But it seems like Ava isn't wasting anytime in getting her revenge and I'm all for her catching up with Logan. And ending him.
I'm worried about her deal with The Council though. It seems like they're willing to play ball now, but what happens when Ava wants to leave? Will they let her? Or will Riley mark her and keep her?
As severely bummed as I am at Grey's death, I am still looking forward to the end of this story and the sequel.
Again, I apologize for my lateness in commenting. I couldn't comment straight away after I read this because I was sad over having to accept Grey's death and then I just forgot to comment. Until today.

I am a picky reader ad one off the things I dislike is the main characters or someone extremely close to them being killed, I know I should be more open to stories and how they are written. I am still going to read the lsat few chapters because I have enjoyed the story so much that I owe it to the awesome author to stick with it. Well, this is kind of upsetting to me; although I think I understand where you're coming from and I don't think you intentionally meant for me to take it in an upsetting way. It's like when they killed Elena in The Vampire Diaries novels... I stopped reading the books after that because the main character was dead. I think you have to remember that Ava is the main character, not Greyson. But if you can't deal with him being gone that's fine too. And to clear it up for you; Greyson doesn't come back from the dead, sorry. However, there's only 2 more chapters and an epilogue left. There might be a happy ending that somehow doesn't involve Greyson? Your choice.

If I hadn't planned the whole story out ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have killed him off because I got attached to him. But without killing him, the rest of the story doesn't make sense. I hope you keep reading at least the last couple of chapters just because there aren't many. But you can go back to your fantasy world where Grey isn't dead after... or you can just stop reading.

Oh, and the way you described her emotions when she saw Greyson's dead body made me get up close and personal with how someone would feel in a situation like that. I love how the Council is so formal, it fits how I picture them quite well. If this were a physical book I would buy it in a heartbeat and it would get worn and torn because I would read it so many times. Its a perfect mix of so many emotions, revenge, anger, rebelion, death, sadness, happiness, love, lust, envy just to name a few haha!

I hope you don't get too stressed out from your school work! I know exactly how it feels to be swamped with school to the point where you're staring at your textbook like a zombie, I've been there way too many times haha. So just take your time and finish up what needs to be done so that you can have the time to write :)

Glad I got some emotions out there for everyone. I was actually worried that since Ava didn't freak out and cry for days on end, people wouldn't get it.

I personally love the creepy Council. lol. I like their way of doing things. They're interesting.

Gosh...that girl has a better frame of mind then i do...!!! i would've rather wandered aimlessly til i found him. i wonder what the 'tests' are gonna be like...and shall she actually kill logan when she finds him...i truelly hope she do... . -on another note- it really does sound like you have alot on your plant..so i'll be kind of sad when you don't update...but i'll understand...-*whisper voice*...even though you put me into suspense so cruelly- :D

I think that's just how Ava is... logical. i mean, she has those times where she's like "WTF?!?! WHY CAN'T I MAKE MY OWN FUTURE? I HATE YOUR GREYSON!" an then she reasons with herself. You know? And she's still distraught, but she's going for revenge now. And uses her resources.

I will update eventually, I was just trying to say that it might not be on Saturday.

I apologize for my lateness in reading this, been a little busy.

I can't even... What the hell happened?
What a coward Logan turned out to be! Attacking Grey from behind while his state of mind was basically broken with sadness and fear of losing Ava.
Did Logan think past killing Grey? Does he think with Grey out of the way that Ava will just love him instead?
Darn tooting, I'm angry.
I can't believe the others would just fall under Logan's command like that! Aren't there rules for choosing a new Alpha? I mean surely, you could challenge one, but as like a ritual that the whole pack is aware of. Grey didn't stand a chance with that blitz attack!
And what does this mean for Ava? Won't she just know that something's wrong with Grey because of their connection?
My thoughts are wayyy unorganized right now and I apologize for that. I'm just in shock. I don't want to believe that Grey is dead. In fact, I can't believe that.
Believe me when I say this, I have never been more eager than I am right now to read what is going to happen next.

I tried to portray what Logan's frame of mind was in the chapter.... I mean, the whole time he was mad at Grey AND at Ava for going to Grey; but yet somehow he still wanted her. And then I explained that Logan realized Ava wasn't there, and needed to hurry and leave. So he knows Ava won't love him, and he's scared of what she might do.
I'll try and explain the whole Alpha takeover thing, since I don't think I explained it very well.
