I loved this chapter!
As for playing on the emotional aspect, it definitely did that. I was bawling when Brian visited and talked to Jimmy. Can't wait to see which fate Brian chooses. :)

I'm so glad that I finally caught up on this story. So much has happened, but I'm enjoying every second of it.
Honestly, this story has the best plot of any story I've ever read. It's odd to say, but it seems so much more realistic than any other story I've ever read. You really know how to connect with your characters, and that takes true talent.
I'm looking forward to so much more!

Brian's pretty fucked up. He needs counseling. I don't blame him though.

I like how Erin has a personality. So many Avenged Sevenfold fanfics have really atrocious OFC's who do absolutely fucking nothing, they have completely unrealistic jobs or they don't have a job at all. They're flat, bitches, and fucking boring. Erin keeps fit, she works hard, she's got a great job, she has morals and expectations, she's a really sweet girl. She's a plausible character. And to be honest I'd rather see her with Bobby, he's such a babe. I like Brian too though, as I said before I feel really sorry for him but I can relate to what he's going through, and not being able to cope and feeling like giving up everything.
I've got a real attachment to this story and it's characters.

Wow is all I can say to sum up that update. There were definitely tears this chapter. I'm glad Erin was able to have a breakthrough with Brian and make him see the light. I'm also happy he is starting to cope with the loss of Jimmy in a healthy way. I'm still waiting for the day Erin and Brian get back together and I can't wait for Lisa and Zacky to get married. I think when that happens that may be a turning point for Erin and Brian. Excellent update! I look forward to the next one. I've also recommended your stories to a couple of friends. :) Wonderful update, once again. :)

I really appreciate your writing because, as a matter of fact, you're one of the very few that write Avenged fan fiction well. I absolutely love your plots, your characters; they're real and they have actual emotions, they aren't two dimensional, flat, boring sociopaths.

I can relate to Brian a lot in Open Your Eyes, and (minus the fame and money) I did exactly what he did when I lost the love of my life. Lol. It's interesting reading his emotions - I feel more connected with Brian than I do Erin, but I still like Erin a lot. I think she's a really strong character, and she has a great personality. You really bring your characters to life. :)

Btw that Kelsey chick is ugs mcgugs haha.

he is there, at her apartment, telling her he is sorry and that he misses her, she needs to wake up and smell the roses and realize he is meant for her and him being there is GREAT...

I can't help but love and hate Brian at the same time! And feel sorry for him:( either way I loved this update!!! Hopefully they talk more when he wakes up!update soon!!!:)

Amazing update. I think the fact Erin pepper sprayed Brian was kind of fun and sad at the same time. I feel like the ending of this chapter is the turning point for their relationship. I'm always going to be rooting for them to get back together. I'm interested to see what the next chapter will hold. Great work and excellent update as usual.

Oh my gosh, I got extremely teary eyed during this chapter. You do such a fantastic job at capturing emotion when you write. I'm glad Erin told Jon about Bobby. I found it funny when he yelled out she was dating the enemy. I also agree with Jon on the fact that he was hoping Erin and Brian would get back together. I hope things start to progress for them. I'm mad at Val, what the hell is she thinking not being there for Matt regardless of him telling her to go or not. Brian really needs to lose his wannabe Barbie girlfriend/fuck buddy. He needs to get himself together, then start to fight for Erin. I will always be rooting for them. :) excellent update and I look forward to the next one. As far as stories go, I would recommend Burn and God and the Deathbat. Both of which are Brian stories and still being worked on. Maybe they'll spark some inspiration for you. :)
