Scorching hot sex scene as always. Love the window sex! This chapter was so great at showing how far they've come in their relationship. And Amelia wanting to help pay for it shows how capable she is of standing on her own two feet. She's seeing herself as an equal in her relationship, something she always was with Deryk in his eyes but now she's an equal in her own eyes. I feel really bad about how crappy her parents are though.
Also I check every single day for a Jordan update, can't wait for that - and this epilogue.

There better be a whole bunch of little Ameila & Deryk's running around in the next chapter. [I'ma realist, but I love the fluffy, sappy, cliched romance endings.] Or at least a proposal or something just as fluffy. :)

you have no idea how happy the apartment on mt washington made me. i only have two goals in life, one to own a dodge challenger srt8 with a 392 hemi and the second to live on mt washington with a giant window over looking the greatest city in the world. so pretty much that exact apartment that you put in that chapter! im sad that there is only one chapter left although i guess i will just have to live anyways. have i ever mentioned that i absolutely love your stories? i think i have but yeah i completely love them! :)

God, I just love the way that you write Max. It seems so true to character. That he'd been terrified of not only being in love, but that he'd experience enough kinks in his armour to worry about whether or not he was going to be loved back. He seems like an 'all in' kind of guy. That once he realizes what and who he wants and decides to go after it, he puts as much as himself into it. If not all of himself. That's how I see him with Chloe. He's never been in love before and he's learning how to be committed and devoted to one person. I love seeing how he has a little bit of a jealous streak and how much he's matured. That he's grown up to the point where he respects her too much to make her locker room talk.

Okay...that meltdown/tantrum of Max's was a few chapters in the making. I think we all saw it coming and we all expected it and accepted it of him. I think he had every right to react the way he did. He's putting himself out there and giving his all to her and he feels like she's not giving much back. And he knows his future in Pittsburgh is bleak and he doesn't want to lose her and Fiona. Of course he snapped!

His little speech to her about it not being possible to love someone to much was amazing. As was her finally admitting that she does love him. And that kiss...both kisses you described this chapter...were so magical *sigh*

Max was so cute in the locker room. All glowing and giddy about the woman he loves saying 'I love you' in return. Engo's brooding moment was good too. How he reminded Max that he'd break him in half if he ever hurt Chloe.

I like how Max 'sort of' squealed. He didn't say exactly what was wrong with Amelia. He just said enough lol

Amelia is going to punch Max in the face or kick him in the balls the next time she sees him.

Jayson is such a dick. At first I thought maybe he'd turned over a new leaf when he stuck up for her against that old pervert, but then he just turns around and proves to me yet again that he is a first class douche bag. Who the hell does he think he is? God's gift? He needs an ass whupping.

Yay! Engo is the knight in shining armour. I mean, I didn't doubt he would be. But it was still exciting! lol Thank God he shoved up when he did. I hope she does press charges. No way that dick head should get away with that!

I love the smut in the suite. It was perfect. I think she needed that to happen there because it was always sort of her safe place and Jayson had tarnished it and she needed Deryk to make it a place of awesome memories again.

Is it the end 'end' that's next? Like the epilogue? Or one more chapter and then the epilogue? I'm not ready to let these characters go yet :(

Holy fuck! I don't know how she made it through that night with all those comments. She sure does know how to handle herself. I love that Deryk came to the rescue. I hope charges are pressed against Jayson.

I really have nothing to say but that I loved this update. Loved the little tantrum Max had in the beginning to get Chloe to open up. Love that Deryk didn't go home and brought security with him to Suite 66. Loved it all.

I'm sad to see this go. I don't have any suggestions on how you should end it, as long as it ends on a happy note. [I'm a realist but at the same time I love the sappy shit.] Anyway you do it, I'm sure will be the perfect ending for Deryk & Ameila and of course Max & Chloe. [Unless you're planning on writting a sequel with those 2 as the main charachters and Deryk & Ameila as the supporting ones. Like role reversale. ;)

Can't wait for the final update on this story and I'm looking forward to all the other updates on the rest of your amazing stories. :D

I love it, hate Jayson. I really don't want this to be the end. I have gotten so attached to them. I kind of want to see Jayson put I jail. That would make everything better. Cause I was completely shocked that he let stu do that to her.
