Oh Holly just won't let it all go and believe will she. She's still so wrapped up in feeling guilty and that nothing should be good for her, that she doesn't deserve it. She's so frustrating I can see why G is angry and sad mixed together. I'm so glad G did the drawing, I can picture it and finally she's told Molly about Sonja. That little girl needs to know her family, even if it's not complete anymore.
Wow, there was so much she'd blocked out. I am so glad Bob rang her, all that guilt she was hanging on to, when it didn't happen that way at all. I'm happy to hear how happy Sonya was, it was awful thinking they parted so badly. Holly has to face it all now, is there more she has she forgotten?
Oh Richard!!! I think he's not as nice as he wants to make out he is, sure he's being all "you take your time, I understand" but I just don't trust him. Even if it doesn't work out with G, i don't think Richard is the man for her, he seems wolfish. But G is just trying so hard to make everything perfect. It's so sweet.
STOPSTOPSTOP you are breaking my heart!! Richard was unexpectedly nice about the whole thing. He certainly doesn't give a shit what Gerard thinks, but he wants Holly enough to give her the space to figure out her shit. IF THAT EVER HAPPENS.
He's cheeky! lol As much as G is trying to giver her time, I think Richard is upping the pressure. Bet he's very used to getting what he wants. Can't help thinking what Molly may have asked for, bet it's not a toy.
You are such a talented writer, its so rare that I can find anything to hook my attention like this story has. If you wrote a book id buy it! Keep up the awesome work. =]
Holly is still so frustrating. G is doing a very good job with showing that he wants her to be happy, no matter what. And we the readers know that she probably isn't really interested in Richard, except as a friend.
LOVED the little deal where he had the saleswoman remove the dress tag and quote Holly a lower price than it really was.
Well Richard has a much greater story doesn't he! I can see why he felt he wanted to understand Holly, and the stories are not that different at all. Question is, what will Holly do now?
You know, Holly's starting to piss me off. I know she's afraid to get hurt, blah blah blah, she only wants Molly to know her dad and doesn't want to stick around, oh yah, sure...but she keeps hiding things. Seriously, does she really have that much doubt and is THAT unsure of herself?
In other news, the story Richard told her was awful--that he was an addict and then caused his wife to miscarry. Ugh! I know I'd never forgive him. I guess the story is meant to give her a little perspective on her own situation. And she's trying to resist getting closer to G--like that's gonna happen!
Richard is attracted to her but he's not the type of person, I think he's talking about giving food to the shelters because it will make her think higher of him, not because he wants to. If he already knew places were doing it, then why hadn't he? Plus it's a world she wouldn't fit into, a world of fakery and class distinction. She's not like that. G is realising more and more what he missed seeing all those years ago, finally seeing her side, not only seeing his own.
