I really don't know what to say about this chapter. It was amazing.

Goddamn Sierra and Sam are just going down the road to hell with cut brakes. I'm wondering how they're gonna get out of this one but my best guess is is if they do get back to a somewhat normal relationship that it's going to end up being a bitter and unemotional one that they end up feeling stuck in without the slightest hint of love. Maybe I'm just a cynic though.

I mean, how can someone even cope with the fact that they caught their significant other on the brink of suicide? Sam seems like one of those people that will hold that over her head whenever she might voice her intentions of leaving him, which sets up for a toxic situation. He already has his claws in her too deep and vice versa, and they love each other too much for their own personal health. And this is the chapter where Sierra is really starting to be painted as an alcoholic of a character. Let me just add that I love how you've very slowly gotten up to this point with her, by the way. It's taken a good four or five chapters to address her growing addiction and not overnight in one update. It's like I'm really standing by watching her sink lower and lower into its clutches.

On another note, I'm worried about what's going to happen with Barry and Sam. I can bet that the sort of unspoken tension between the two can end a friendship, even though Barry is just a brother to her. Sam is obviously very guarded, selfish, and protective of her. Even as they were taking the shower together and he didn't want anyone else to see her naked except for him. I'm wondering if this is him being overbearing, controlling, or both. Either way, your ability to construct solid characters is really impressive and I should be taking notes.

It's crazy how they were the most adorable couple ever, before it turned crazy. I loved this chapter, and seeing how easy it would have been for Sierra to fall for Sam. Especially the part at the end, jeez I'm jealous that man is sexy! Haha. But I really love Sierra, and seeing this makes it easier to see why he might have such control over her. Ahhhh I cannot wait for more, I love this story!

That chapter was adorable but the chapter before that was so intense. Sam is crazy like intense I'm kind of scared he's going to turn into a serial killer or something crazy.

I almost literally went "Awww" lol This was a super cute chapter :D I'm really anxious to find out how she's going to react to what Sam did in the other chapter. He may or may not have done it on purpose...

I don't see what you don't like about this chapter, because shit girl I loved it. It's so intense, and I think you balance the reality and fairy tale parts perfectly together. They both showcase how crazy Sam and Sierra's relationship has gotten. Especially at the end, with the beast killing himself and Sam's attempted suicide. I don't even know what to think about Sam and Sierra now.
I just am completely in love with this story because it's so different from everything else you've written, and it's much more dark. I cannot wait for more, you've gotten me hooked.

Another fairytale executed perfectly! They are definitely my favorite chapters because they all flow so nicely and it makes the story far more interesting. Your writing changes so much when you write in this format in a very good way. Your vocabulary leaves me green with envy and the pace is just right. And it seems like you know exactly when to pull the reader out of fantasy and back to reality, a constant push and pull that makes reading this story a ride in itself.

Once again, the reader is shown just how fucked up Sierra and Sam's relationship is. He is proven to be more controlling than originally expected with his suicide attempt, and Sierra slips deeper into the clutches of alcoholism. Oh geez, the lengths of self-harm these two go through just to keep the other person is jaw dropping. Yet, they are both good souls hiding under the thick skin of their own beasts, and they can see each other in that way. There is an undeniable chemistry and magnetic attraction.

I'm dying to know where you're gonna go from here, and what Sierra's afterthoughts are over Sam's latest act. Also if Sam will be as cocky and in control after knowing that Sierra saw him at his weakest. Maybe he'll deny it ever happened and he'll be the same. God I have so many questions and they only seem to increase after every new update. That is my favorite type of writing.

Keep it up because you are doing incredible.

Sam is really dependent on Sierra even though he hides it with his cocky attitude, he needs more than anything or else he'll lose it.
And the tale of Sierra and the Beast was very beautiful and sad.

Holy fuck this chapter was intense! Girl, I fucking loved it haha. It's crazy how you can so easily illustrate the different sides of Sam, and make them all completely realistic. By the end, he's actually kind of terrifying. I am in love with this! There are just so many sides to Sam, and I also love Sierra. I feel so freaking bad for her, because it's like the 'ugly' Sam came out of nowhere to her. I cannot wait for more!

So we finally see the true Sam. I figured there had to be more to him than just being womanizing if he completely changed Sierra's world. Part of me thinks she should just run as far away as fast as she can but then she really loves him and he loves her so I just don't know.

Jesus christ. Where do I even begin. This is by far my favorite chapter of anything you've ever written. I had to read this about two or three times before I could comment because there are so many side notes I want to make. Fantastic.

Let's just start with the formatting. In the intro, you jump right into the different dimensions of Sam, and present three categories: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Not only is that incredible enticing in its title, but it is separating his different personas so that the reader can become very familiar with each one. It's as though this chapter is a tour of Sam and the multiple masks he puts on for everyone else, leaving us wondering which is the real him. I love that so much, and I knew then and there that I was in for something good.

ROMANTIC SAM:
He is such a cunning douchebag in that first paragraph. He sees women as objects of his temporary affection that run dry and that he throws out. He uses his looks to his advantage, and in a way, it has become his path to living, and a fucked up hobby of sorts. Seeing how many girls he can acquire, conquer, and dispose. He is so scared of commitment and being vulnerable that he checks out of "relationships" before he can get hurt, obviously. Sierra is finally the one to break him, but I'm still pretty skeptical about that. It seems as though he is trying way to hard to keep her, but then again considering that he hasn't loved anyone before and he has now found it, he's doing everything he can to keep it. He treats Sierra like a queen because he's scared that she'll toss him aside like he's done to so many other women, I think. Because his insecurity in her love for him is clear when he practically demands for her to tell him that she'll always be his, that she loves him, blah blah blah.

PASSIONATE SAM:
This is the first official introduction to the Sam's "dark side". The readers got a preview of it when he was so hurtful to Maggie, but now there is nowhere to run after the scene with Sierra and him in the alley. Let me just say right now that I can see you wording this chapter up and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Seriously, I feel so proud. It is so great and it brings the characters to life in such a deeper light, I want you to keep it up because you're better at it than you say you are! The long paragraph going into detail about passion and what it means to Sam was flawless. And the way you transition from the past to the present within one chapter is not an easy thing to accomplish, yet you did an excellent job. It flows really well. ANYWAYS, this section, Sam's bad side, is fucking freaky. He's night and day: such a nice guy one minute and then threatening to drag her by her fucking hair. Just...oh wow. I did not see that going down, but I adore that. I like that you're making this darker by each chapter that passes.

ANGRY SAM:
Goddamn. "Angry" is an understatement; that guy was beyond livid. First he drives Sierra into the beginning of alcoholism, and then he's gliding into the realms of abuse throwing her up against the brick wall like that. Under any other circumstances, that would definitely be hot, but no no no. That is definitely an ugly side to have to any personality, and it felt so real as I was reading it. He's so violent, but he's just a vulnerable and desperate boy, from what I can see. And Sierra's attitude towards him, acting like someone who has control over her and can tell her what to do like she's his property, well, the way she responds to him is accurate, honestly. I could hear my own voice coming out of her mouth haha. Then, once again, his last resort is to beg for her forgiveness after he physically/mentally hurt her and demands for her to comply. This relationship is ending its honeymoon phase and beginning to turn toxic.

Just...holy fuck. This is a novel of a comment but I can't contain my thoughts over this one.

Before Sam met Sierra, he would use women for his pleasure and take great joy in breaking their hearts, seeing their tears fall from their eyes.
But then he meets Sierra and he can't deny that he is very attracted to her even though he tries to stay clear of her but failed.
I laughed at that part where there are two drunk Sam, one being mean and possessive one while the other is just horny and won't stop touching Sierra!

Sam may come off cocky and very flirty but he is passionate about his music and his relationship to Sierra.
He is also very possessive of her, he wants her to himself and wants the reassurance that she loves him and will stay with forever!
I love this chapter because it gives more background to Sam's character and personality!
