I loved the way she tried to brazen it out and act like everything was all good. The moment when she realized her money was gone was kind of heart breaking. Although I couldn't help but think why the hell would she keep that much money in an apartment she admittedly said was terrible. It does make for good drama though. James being kind of short and clipped this chapter was well played. Also, great stopping point. I definitely can't wait for more!

This was cute! I like that you are casually building up their relationship and not rushing anything. His outrage over her living situation makes me laugh. Her best friend being jealous also amuses me, but I hope he only stays as a friend, no love triangle action. Lastly, James long suffering sigh over inviting her to live with him was my favorite.
