I'm glad that they managed to get to Lyndsey but damn she should really be in the hospital but at least she's got Brian there to keep her warm. Zacky's suggestion, although it went to perver in less than three seconds, lol, is a good one.

And damn that EMT needs to learn some people skills.

wow..its was such an awesome chapter! I feel like you really captured all of the crazy emotions in this situation...if that make any sense...lol. I loved how freaked Brian was and how he just up and popped the EMT in the face...totally realistic though, i would have done the same!! cant wait for more!!

ahhh this chapter! so long, and SO good. I'm so glad lyndsey is okay, because I was a little worried there for a second. she could have done without the hypothermia, but at least things between her and brian are good again. I guess sometimes it unfortunately takes things like this to make you realize when arguments are just petty and stupid, because you realize how pointless they are compared to what's really important in life. (this came out better in my head... I'm blaming it on being tired.)

You know, you being a nurse comes in handy. I feel like anyone else that tried to write a scene about hypothermia would fuck it up. Hell, I only know about it because I've worked on a case that involved severe hypothermia. Poor Brian probably could have used a slap once or twice through here, not because he was being a bitch or anything, but more because it seemed like he was going into shock himself.

I loved this update though.

PS... is it weird that reading this made ME feel cold? Not cool man...

Oh man I absolutely loved it. LOVED IT! Poor Lyndsey couldn't get in the ambulance. But it's okay because Zacky can use google. I am just so glad that everything turned out well in the end with getting out of the water. And Brian isn't being a pissy pants anymore...well he was to the EMT but that was understandable.
And I love that part you changed up a bit. It definitely fits in better with the situation.

I hope she's going to be alright. I was kind of upset that they wouldn't let him do what he had to do, but I'm glad Kris did stay to help him anyway.

OMG. I wasn't expecting at all that she was going to fall into the water! When I read the title Drown, I just assumed it had something to do with hers and Brian's relationship. I didn't take it LITERALLY at all! This makes me nervous, thinking that maybe she will drown.

Or maybe she won't? I'm now thinking that Brian could be the one who comes to save her and pulls her out of the water and then feels like such a douche for how he's been acting and apologizes. Then maybe the title could also refer to their relationship as well and if she survives, they have a little chat and she talks about that's the way she has been feeling lately (or maybe Brian's been feeling like the one drowning in the relationship?)

Well, those are my speculations anyway. Not sure if they are way off or whatever, but I stand by them. :P

okay. i feel so stupid right now. i knew the title of this story was "drown" and yet it only JUST clicked to me what that meant. i guess i was thinking maybe drowning emotionally/mentally, because of whatever's going on between her and brian (and maybe that's part of it.. who knows) but it took me until this chapter to realize it was literal.

but she can't drown! she can't. not happening. hurry up johnny (or someone!)
