OH MY GOD!! I LOVED THIS CHAPTER SO MUCH!!!! I WANT TO YELL SO BAD RIGHT NOW, WHICH I TECHNICALLY AM RIGHT NOW BUT YEAH THERE WILL BE PLENTY MORE WHERE THIS CAME FROM. “What?!” Michelle yelled at her and looked at her in confusion. “No! What the fuck is wrong with you? Of course I didn’t get hit in the face!”

“Oh,” Leah said as she looked over at me and shrugged her shoulders. She looked back at Michelle and cocked her arm back and punched Michelle square in the face and Michelle stumbled backwards and fell into a chair. “Fixed that problem,” she stated as she took another swig of the beer that she hadn’t even spilled a drop out of.

“Did you just hit me?!” Michelle screamed as she stood back up and moved towards Leah again.

“Yep, I’m supposed to tell you it was from your EX-husband,” Leah stated and Michelle took a swing at her but Leah dodged it and came right back and threw another one in her face. “And that one? That one’s from me, Bitch,” Leah stated as Michelle shrunk back towards the chair again as her eyes welled up with tears and Leah turned around and walked out with her own standing ovation.

“Marry her. Marry her now,” my dad stated over my shoulder and I turned and tried to look annoyed but I couldn’t help smirking as he smiled widely and nodded.

“Give it a rest, Old Man. All in due time,” I said with a smile as I patted him on the shoulder. “I’m going to go find Leah, make sure somebody calls security and gets Michelle out of here,” I said and he nodded before I walked out of the room.

This whole part right here is pure awesomeness! I love how Leah was just like, "You're in my way" and then just pushed past her haha! Like Brian said, learn from his mistakes and don't go making the same mistakes he did. You could have at least been smarter about it and gone somewhere that wasn't out after dark where you could easily get jumped and possibly raped and you wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. Plus, there is the possibility that you could be killed and no one wants that. Aww, it made me a little sad that he brought up Jimmy and his death but I think it was good for him to do that and hopefully it got through to her and made her realize the risks and consequences of what could happen. Not only that but she's 15 and shouldn't be doing that shit anyways. I bet it was mostly Lauren's fault. Like Brian said, she probably lied to her and possibly pressured her into doing it which isn't cool at all. She needs to stay away from her because she is obviously nothing but trouble. Yes, it's better to get caught by your parents because the worse thing that could happen is getting spanked, yelled at, and grounded but when it comes to the cops she would've been arrested and she would have screwed up the rest of her life and then she would really be sorry. I climbed out of the car and looked to make sure that Leah wasn’t watching me as I scooped up a handful of snow and balled it up in my hands. I heard her car door open and I held it behind my back with one hand as I turned to face her. She was facing in the opposite direction towards the cabin.

“Hey Babe, help me get the bags out of the trunk and then we can check the place out,” I said as normally as possible as I popped the trunk open.

She walked around the car and leaned over the trunk and I walked over next to her and pulled the collar of her jacket back, dropping the snowball in and patting her back so it flattened and splattered all over her back. She gasped and her whole body turned rigid as she slowly turned her head to look over at me. The expression on her face was completely priceless and I tried as hard as I could to bite back my laugh. She reached her arm back and shook the back of her jacket and I lost it when all of the melting snow slipped out.

“You’re gonna die,” she stated firmly.

I watched her in amusement before she quickly ran around the other side of the car and scooped up some snow and balled it up. I ran back to my side of the car and made another snowball as we each stood on our respective sides of the car and stared each other down with smirks on our faces. We tried to fake each other out a few times, both of us laughing like idiots before she took off running around the other side of the cabin. I started running around it in the other direction and slowed down as I got to the back and slowly moved along the wall and peeked around the corner. She was peeking around the other corner looking back towards the front of the cabin and turned it slowly, giving me the perfect opportunity to quietly sneak up along the other wall. I slowly moved to peek around that corner and jumped when I came face to face with her.

“Hi Brian,” she grinned before smashing her snowball on top of my head.

I brushed it off and then wiped the melting snow out of my eyes as she stood there with an accomplished look on her face.

I smiled as I reached out and grabbed the front of her jacket and pulled her up against me, snaking my other hand under the back of her jacket and smashing my half-melted snowball against her lower back. She arched her back away from the cold, subsequently pressing her chest against me and thrusting her hips towards me. I pinned her against the side of the building and smirked before consuming her lips with mine. I immediately started to get hard and she reached her hand down, rubbing me through my jeans causing me to moan against her lips.

“This week has been so nice,” he said softly. “I needed to get away from everything, we both did.”

She definitely puts too much responsibility on herself for everything that happened in the past. She had to fend for herself when she still should have been able to lean on her parents for support and guidance. I think she did the right thing by getting the abortion too, in her situation it was the best thing to do. Her brother is a piece of shit for just sitting back for all of these years and never sticking up for her when he’s the only other one that knows the truth. Her mom should just go die too.

It’s so great that Brian reacted to everything with nothing but love and support for her. He made her feel validated and like she was worth something. Maybe he can start to take it all away after all…..

Ok, so I read this chapter last night but I was too tired to comment so here I am.

Awww, it was so sweet of Leah, his mom, and Papa Gates to help fix up his house and Brian didn't have to do a single thing, that must feel nice. He didn't have to come home all stressed and have to figure out how he was going to replace everything, that shows that he has an amazing family and girlfriend. You're so lucky Brian.

The first one I stopped at was of me when I was about 16 sitting on my surfboard in the water just beyond the impact zone. The next was of my brother just picking up a wave. The third was of McKenna riding a smaller wave with a grin on her face. The fourth and final one was of McKenna on her board in the water with me looking up at her as I stood chest deep in the water and was talking to her. I looked over at Leah and smiled before pulling her into a tight embrace and then kissing her deeply.

I thought that was sweet <3

“You are the most amazing, thoughtful, loving, unselfish person that I’ve ever met. I don’t even know where to start or how to thank you. Baby, you are the most incredible woman I could ever ask for, and I am so grateful for all of this. You have no idea how much all of this means to me, Leah.
