I'm glad you like that I had them wait to say I love you, I just felt that with her being so damaged and him being afraid to open himself up again that it wouldn't be right if they said it any sooner. Dude, what the hell was Michelle thinking? How dumb can you get, I mean seriously what was she hoping to accomplish by trashing his house. And how did she find out where he lived? I wonder if Leah is going to find herself in danger, because clearly Michelle has lost her mind.

I'm glad that you had Brian and Leah wait to say I love you for a while. So many stories have them confessing their love like two days after they have met and it is so weird. And you could have had them say it sooner considering that they pretty much were already in love when Brian left for tour, but I'm glad you had them wait. I'm also glad that you had Brian wait to tell her till they were face to face. Honestly that was my favorite part of the whole chapter. And I swear those two are just so dang cute together.

And what was up with Matt? I was even getting a little annoyed with his antics.

As always, another great chapter! Thank you for the update and I can't wait for the next one. I want to know what is going to happen with Brian's divorce now that Michelle has fucked up.

I definitely plan on updating as much as possible, hope to have another chapter up in the next day or so! I had to take my regular laptop in to get fixed and then I was gone over the weekend so I couldn't update, but I'm going to try to update regularly, at least throughout the summer.

I'm glad you liked the "He’s a man, so communication is hard for him in the first place,” line. I have to admit that I had to laugh when I wrote that one. It's just too entirely true LOL. I'm glad you liked the older brother bit that I put in there too, I had fun writing that part.

I'm having so much fun writing a sweet Brian character and Leah is just turning into a ball of fun to write about as well. She definitely has secrets in her past, but they've made her a stronger person.

And as always, the sweet/cutesy scenes are fun to write too. I try not to make my stories too overly mushy, but I try my best to make it count when I do!

Oh goodie! I was beginning to wonder if you would ever update this. I must say that I love this story and look forward to your updates! I loved the scene with Brian teaching McKenna to surf. Leah's line "He’s a man, so communication is hard for him in the first place,” made me laugh! I must say that if I had a brother, I would like him to date someone like Leah. I just really like her character for some reason. Oh and I loved Brian getting all big brother there with McKenna! Not very many writers try and include that part of Brian into their character, but as an older sibling I can tell you that protecting your siblings is very much apart of who you are. I think may favorite part of this chapter was the morning after scene. Don't get me wrong the sex on the beach scene was HOT! but, I just loved this:
“Is there anything about you that isn’t perfect?” I asked jokingly.
“Oh, please,” he laughed, “name one thing about me that is.”
“Eh,” I shrugged, “you have a pretty nice ass,”
I like the humility of your Brian, and Leah's sassiness! And this:
“Just have it here so you can show off your new house, maybe I’ll even help and do some cooking and help you clean up,” I smirked and he kissed me again.
“I don’t deserve how good you are to me,” he smirked.
“I’m pretty sure it’s the other way around, but either way I’m glad we found each other,” I smiled and he kissed me deeply.
I mean how cute is that!!! My face is almost split in two from smiling so damn much! You gotta love the cheese!

Great story - and I agree about Brian's character. I have seen other stories where he is portrayed as quite an asshole and mean and I really don't like that. This is the Brian I like to read about. Hurry with another update please

Sorry to hear about your dad. I have been fortunate that my parents are still alive. I just recent had to go through an other lose of a dear friend who I loved very much. Worst part was was that they were so young, much like Jimmy, and had their whole life ahead of them. It's never easy losing someone.

Yeah, I kind of know what you're saying. So Far Away has a really personal meaning to me too because my Dad passed away suddenly a couple of years ago and the song just fit. Eventually incorporating some of the lyrics into a tattoo for him though. Overall though, glad you liked the chapter, thanks again for leaving your thoughts!!

It's a good movie yeah! Gotta love Mr. Fergie! Anyways, I kind of thought that that was maybe how you meant it, but for some reason it upset me (it was not offensive, just caught me off gaurd is all). I guess it's just something I wouldn't joke about, if you know what I mean. I've gotten that call in the middle of the night and it's not something I want to repeat anytime soon. Actually when the Rev passed, I found out via text from by roommate in Cali when I was home visiting my family in Texas for Christmas. Needless to say I ended up cried my eyes out. Pretty much a year later I was awoken by a phone call that pissed me off because it was the middle of the night only to find out my grandpa died. I actually have love/hate feeling towards the album Nightmare because I remember it being released about that time, and I was so excited but then... so yeah. Actually I can't listen to Fiction withouth thinking of Jimmy and my grandpa for some strange reason. And So Far Away can't even be played in the same room that am in anymore, I've lost to many people I love and that song just kills me everytime. But hey enough with the sad thoughts, like I said it was just something that threw me off, but I loved this chapter very much!

Glad you liked the hotness of it! LOL. Leah's story will def. be revealed in bits and pieces and eventually the entire story will be out. The comment that you were talking about that Brian made, it was part of being heat of the moment, partly how some people just kind deal with it. I've seen him say stuff in interviews and vids that was kind of along the same mentality. I'm not saying that he would actually say it, but I think it depends on the type of relationship you had with someone who passed and the atmosphere in which it's said. I wasn't trying to be upsetting, so sorry if it seemed offensive Thanks so much for commenting and leaving your thoughts! PS, I watched Safe Haven ondemand today, bawled my eyes out and now I wish I would have just bought it instead of paying $6 for a 24 hour rental LOL.

First off, Dude that was HOT!!! I need a cold shower, like seriously. Anypoop, I'm curious to find out what happened to Leah. Who would want to burn someone some many times? I get that there are sick motherfuckers out there but I just don't get it. I can't wait to find out more about her back story. I know I've said this before but I LOVE Brian in this story! I wish he was mine . The one comment he made though about another band member being be dead was a little upsetting. I mean Brian and Jimmy were best friends and I just don't see him saying something like that. Though I get that in the heat of passion people say some crazy things so if that is what you were going for then I guess I can understand. Anyways this was another great chapter and I'm looking forward to reading more!

Well I'm loving your Brian very much! I was just refering to looks more than anything, but now that I think about it the character in the movie does come across a lot like your Leah. It's a good movie but be forwarned you might cry, at least I did (DON'T JUDGE ME! ).
