I remember reading that part in the book - the interview with Peeta - and it made my heart jump then and it did in this chapter, too. So much excitement and then sadness because aw, Mags. At least she doesn't die in your story because I really loved her.

And everything else about this chapter. The way you write this it feels like a spin-off from the actual books. I know I told you that before but it bears repeating now because it is just so true.
I love every detail of this. Finnick is the most perfect human being and I really want one.
But I tell you we would not be sleeping if we shared a bed.

Finnick .. I just can't. He's too .. ugh. He's so swoon-worthy and you write him so well and I can't take it and I just want him, okay? And Lana is perfect and I wish I was her and this is phenomenal.

My favorite part of this entire story is seeing Catching Fire from a different POV. It's my favorite one of the books and the movie was phenomenal and I really like what you're doing with it, ie Haymitch putting together the escape from the arena. And Finnick!!! I'm equal parts angry that Finnick and Lana are paraded around like that and sad because they deserve so much more. Everyone in THG does, to be honest.

Also Haymitch and the sweetheart thing had me dying. Overall, great chapter!

Grrrrr. I can so imagine him saying this to her in a sexy little growl. YUM.

He's just so cute. All the reasons I told you -with the hands and the kiss on the brow. The protective arm around her in front of Haymitch - the least threatening male ever haha - and telling him not to call her sweetheart was unbelievably perfect. This whole chapter was perfect.

hey! noticed another switch from 1st to third person (He looked at her and she suddenly would have rather been dead, than have him look at her the way that he did right then. It was like he was so mad that he wanted nothing to do with her.)
