I was waiting for this chapter from the beginning and dreading it. The first half was so sad - about him not being touched. I really loved that little detail about their relationship and how you went about it. The whole scene was absolutely perfect.
And then the announcement from Snow ... just beautiful and tragic. Wonderfully written. I can't wait for the next update! I need to see how they cope together.

THOSE LINES MADE ME WANT TO CURL UP IN A BALL AND EXPLODE. Finnick, you freaking concerned sweetheart. Serious time, though. I love this story so much. I haven't come across many Finnick stories, so I was excited when I found yours. I like that Lana and Finnick are already close friends, so it'll be interesting to see what happens when--or if--the two have to go back into the arena together.

Also, I just wanted to point out that I thought it was funny, and maybe a coincidence, that the actress you chose to portray Lana (Astrid Bergès-Frisbey) is also the mermaid love interest of Sam Claflin in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

FINNICK AND LANA NEED TO BE TOGETHER. IT'S LITERALLY FATE.
