All out and Over - Comments

I agree, Freddy seemed like he was going to turn on Mal because he wanted Cara. But at the same time he went along with it. I would've liked to see Freddy's story a little more. Mal's ending was great, I just wished it had a little more, but I loved it nonetheless.

So i was thinking about this story a lot, and during a small procrastination session I had two weeks ago, I realize there wasn't a big enough ending for Freddy either. However I do love Mal's 'you'll never really know' ending.

Ah well, I shall remedy that now! I had to reread the final chapter since it's been a while, but I love the conclusion. Mallory got what she desired, her two-timing ex is dead, and the fire-breather is going down for it. I do wish something had gone wrong with her plan, but the way you ended it does leave room for a possible continuation if you wanted to continue it. It also left me wondering about the detectives and their reactions to speaking with a less-than-distraught Mal right after she found them. It left me with a lot of questions and a lot of thoughts, great job guys!

I do have some good news for you. We have been working on a post-apocalyptic story together that will eventually be posted on Mibba as well. So we will keep you updated on that if you like.

Wow. Just... Wow.

So even though Cara wasn't my favorite person, I still like to imagine that the detective will dig deeper and discover the truth and Mal will get what she deserves as well. Still, I like that y'all left it open.

Great story. I applaud you both, and I can't wait for whatever is next from the both of you, cowrites or otherwise.

Hey, we all knew Mal was a good actress, and the queen of manipulation! It's no surprise that things are unfolding her way...right now. It will be interesting to see what the epilogue holds.

I have loved this story so much and will be sad to see it end.

I absolutely love that you get my characters. :) There is a surprising twist in Freddy's fate. But I can't tell you if he's been blessed by the graces of our sociopaths or not.

I haven't had time to really comment on this last chapter until now, but I'm excited about Xavier and Malory. They are the perfect pair of manipulative sociopaths, in a sense, and them having so easily manipulated Cara's doubts away at this present time is exciting. I can't wait to see how they manage his death, who takes the fall, and how does that little knife-thrower come into play.

All I ask, is that you don't judge Xavier before you get to know his character. Which, by the way, won't truly be until the very last chapter. :) Sorry, just keep an open mind, and an open eye. I do love that you have Malory pegged though; she is so much fun! (I swear I'm not as twisted as her!)

Wow you weren't kidding when you said you'd read it before going to bed. This is amazing. I think you have Malory figured out, though. But I can't say much about your theories concerning Xavier or Freddy.
If Dmitri will die, and what will happen to cara? Sorry no spoilers haha. Two more chapters left for this story I believe, so you'll find out soon enough.

I think that Freddy will interfere, and I think that inviting Xavier into the mix was a mistake, whether for Mal or for Cara, I'm not sure. The more in-depth chapter about Malory was an eye opener. She's even more twisted than I'd assumed, but she has dealt with much emotional (and physical) abuse at the hands of men. I understand how that could cause resentment. And I believe her hatred of Cara spawns from the younger girl's stupidity, that she sees herself and her mistakes in that little flame...and she despises Cara for being the way she used to be. I'd like to think that Mal won't be able to bring herself to hurt Cara, but I'm pretty sure she will. And Dmitri, well, he's just screwed. Either way, it seems likely he'll end up dead.
