Holy shit I cant Believe this is over. I’ve been reading this since the day (or maybe a few days after) you published it. It’s been one of my favorite fics I’ve ever read! I’m actually pretty sad it’s over. But well done!

It would have been only too easy for her to run and hide in her comfort zone, but she was right -- she would have regretted it forever. She needed to do this for multiple reasons. The professional ones are obvious; the personal ones less so. It's not only about Brian, it's about her ability to put herself first for once! Her wants are always second fiddle to everyone else's, usually her brother's, and Lzzy's to a lesser extent, whether they demand it or not.

I knew the Avenged guys would be accepting, and I knew Brian would be ecstatic! He's wanted to explore what they have the whole time! Now he has ages to be with her and learn about her and enjoy his time without such a limited deadline. Things can progress more normally now that they don't have to be in a rush or count every freaking second.

I'm so happy for them!!!!!! And I loved this story SO much! I can't wait to see what your mind creates next, whenever that is. You know I'm here for it.

I loved this ending. So glad they were reunited.

Bless her, it would have been an impossible decision to make without the push from two of the people she cares about most. I knew she would view it as them trying to get rid of her, but I'm glad she didn't get fully derailed by that thought process. They love her so much and just want her to be happy, and this is what's best for her, both professionally and personally (even if she wants to pretend the latter isn't true). This further insight into her friendships with Lzzy and her brother made me -- AGAIN -- not want her to leave Halestorm. Lol. Stop playing with my emotions, woman!!!!!!

Of course, now she's gonna stress about what this will mean for her budding romance with Mr. Gates. I'm sure he is gonna be over the moon about it!

So, I literally came home and passed out on my lounge. I slept for about 5 or 6 hours, now I'm awake and ready for this update!!

Evie hadn’t spoken to anyone in three days. - Oh, poor Evie. She's so conflicted over this opportunity. There is so much riding on her choice. But people will worry about her for disappearing for so long, I'm sure!!

This happened four times before midday. - Bahahaha! Oh, Evie... you adorable anxious mess, you!

I love that Evie is almost catatonic on the couch while Lzzy runs around going through her things. The closeness of their relationship is very cute. Everyone needs a bestie like that. Besides, the more stuff Lzzy borrows, the less stuff Evie needs to pack! Hahaha

Haha, the bickering over Josh being "late" is also cute. They're all so close knit, that I must admit it will make me sad when she leaves and goes off on new adventures with Avenged Sevenfold (Yeah, I've decided she's accepting... ) but I feel their bond will survive any distance!

The back and forth about the clothes stealing is hilarious!! All bickering like true siblings; blood or not. Hahaha.

Poor Evie really had to lose it to get some sort of explanation out of the pair of them who were very set on their task at hand. I don't blame her, I would want answers too! And as helpful as they may be, they really need to use their words. Hahaha

She had to lean back in the couch, her mind swimming as she tried to wrap her head around the idea that not only had she been the last to know (yet again), but that the band had so willingly let her go. - Oh, honey... they're letting you go because they want what's best for you and they want to be supportive!

“I know that your brother isn’t going to want to be the one to pack your sex toys, and if he goes any further in that wardrobe he sure as shit is going to find them.”

Josh immediately recoiled from his position, dropping the jacket he had in his hands and fake retching at Lzzy’s words. - Oh, poor Josh. No one wants to consider their sister having sex toys... let alone using them. Hahahaha.

“Of course you only take that bit of the conversation on board,” Josh said, slightly exasperated. He had laid his heart on the table, and typically the only bit she picked up was the bit she could argue. - Hahaha! I love how much he loves her, despite how frustrated she makes him. They're so adorable!!

“No, I need time to pack,” she clarified, a small smile breaking through. - YAY!!!!

I'm so excited! She is going to be reunited with Brian and the rest of Avenged and make herself a new life and home!! You did not disappoint, at all! And you definitely made my day! It was very much worth the wait... except now I'm dying for more!

So glad she has Lzzy and Josh to give her the push she needs. Hopefully the A7X reception will be just as warm! And she’s been too long away from Brian....

Mostly I was just saying that I was so excited for this update and the only reason I have only just gotten to it was because I have had a SHIT two days at work and basically boycotted my laptop when I got home. And I can't do my "read and comment at the same time" on my phone or my iPad, so hence the delay. Although apparently I can't seem to do it properly on my laptop either based on my fucked up comment posting. Hahaha.

Uh... I think I said something about how I know who she could visit... that sexy beast, BRIAN! Why stay at home when she could be visiting the man of her dreams? Gooo.... do it.

Honestly, I feel Evie's pain. I couldn't imagine having that much time off work at once. It would get very boring, very fast; even considering how much they travel. There's only so much down time anyone could stand. I'd personally got bat shit crazy after two weeks!

A sudden chime of the doorbell nearly made Evie wet herself. - Bahahaha!

Argh, Phil... bleugh.

Whoa... another gig with A7X? Uh, yes please! Evie, do me a solid, agree! I want you back with Brian... and I need a Zacky fix. He has been absent far too long. I miss him! Coz y'know, her career choices should totally be influence by my needs

Okay, she makes valid points with her concerns and what if's... but still. I feel the pros outweigh the cons. Not just on a personal level, but a professional one! She could actually grown her skills and her reputation by working on part of A7X's crew. The personal side of it definitely appears to have more "what if's" than the professional. But even those... they can still turn out for the best.

Well, it's no secret what I want her do. Haha. That's not to say I want to see this end anytime soon!!! It should go on for at least another 22 chapters. I think that's reasonable, right?

Okay. I know everyone wants her to take the job, but... I just can't get behind her leaving Halestorm after everything that's happened. Yes, it would help Chris and his family. And yes, it would give her and Brian more time to explore their relationship. But I can't stand the thought of her walking away and not being there for the upcoming studio time and the tour to follow. Ugh. This proposal sucks. I want her to have Brian and her family/friends, too! I'm greedy. Lol.

I’m so happy to see an update! I get why she’s nervous about taking the job when it comes to her relationship, but i think deep down she knows that’s how their relationship was built, and that it’ll be perfect!

First off - I'm sorry for being a 'silent reader' for 32 chapters!! I was always catching up slowly but surely and wanted to be all caught up before I commented. :o)

I'm so in love with Evie and how she's developed. She's such a relatable character. She has flaws and they have appropriate consequences; she has so many strengths that she's proud to show off after getting over the nerves. She's AMAZING.

I really appreciate how not every single chapter is dedicated to solely Evie and Brian. It makes the moments between them that much more exciting, and it's also very realistic! I love these chapters like the last two where you get a better idea of just how close she is with Halestorm, just like it was talked about in previous chapters.

This is, by far, my favorite story I've read on Mibba!! So excited for the updates to come :o)
