She's Enough
Jimmy stumbled into the bedroom he shared with his girlfriend.
He was too drunk to notice that she had two duffle bags full of her belongings.
Jimmy plopped down onto the bed next to Ashley.
“I love you Jimmy.” Ashley kissed him softly.
He grinned, “I love you too, Ash.”
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to his chest.
She took a shaky breath trying to keep from changing her mind about leaving.
She couldn’t take him being drunk anymore it was as if she only existed when they were in bed together otherwise he was with his friends or drunk.
After awhile Ashley slid out of his grip and grabbed her bags. She pulled on one of Jimmy’s hoodies then quickly jotted down a note for Jimmy before leaving.
Dear Jimmy,
You know I love you. I‘ll never stop, but I have to leave. You never have time for us anymore. Please don‘t do anything stupid while I‘m gone.
