The expression on her pale, freckled face astounded me. The confusion in her bright blue eyes as they ran over my contours, made me more than nervous than ever. She grazed her smooth fingers across my cheeks, touching the tattooed tear beneath my eye. As I petted her thick brunette curls, her lip quickly twisted into disturbance.
“Who are you?” Her bright pink lips mouthed to me.
My heart dropped deeper than a stone into the ocean.
