    i agree completely

what bugs me the most is when people call My Chemical Romance "emo" only because of their looks

they don't listen their music. they just assume that because they wear black most of the time and their newest album is called the black parade, they call it "emo."

if you're going to call something "emo", do your research.

I completly agree with this artical. I hate when people bash my favorite bands. But I'm not gonna lie I don't really like Miley Cyrus. And it's not really for stupid reasons like her music, because I do like her new song. It's just cuz I don't like they way she acts, especially since shes a disney star shes a role model for a lot of younger kids. And what she's doing is completly ridiculous.
    Great article though.

I feel like people are really just too mean in general. who gives a fuck if someone likes music that you don't, or vice versa? it's MUSIC. it's meant to make people happy. and if a certain artist makes me happy, I'm not going to give a shit if someone else doesn't like them, and I'm not going to insult someone based on their choices either. there are different types of music in this world for a reason, and people need to learn to just deal with it and not be so serious all the time.

I'm sorry, but I can't help and feel a bit offended by your article. I don't like My Chemical Romance, nor do I like Miley Cyrus, and many of the artists kids listen these days, either. But never have I publicly bashed them. It's not that I don't know that some people do feel the utter need to trash them in a very open manner, but I think you should have at least mentioned that there are exceptions.
The article was fairly well written.

some people are jealous of others and dont like to see them do good..cause they take it as their down fall if someone has done good or better than them in life..or they could be just some immature teenager who is bored and could care less about what they say or how it affects people.

The reason why people do it is because we all have different opinions. :O
Some people are just too immature and idiotic to express their opinions correctly.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. I have never victimised anyone for liking what they like. It's as you say; we are all different. Ok, I may not like certain music, but I do not go around insulting the music or the people like it. Very well written article; I'm really surprised that not many people have commented.

I definitely agree with what you're saying, it's just that there are some people out there who feel like bashing the 'opposite music' makes them bigger fans of their own.
Not sure that was expressed right, but I'm sure you'll understand.
    lol
