Pete Wentz To Leave Fall Out Boy - Comments

Okay. You took this way out of context. In an AP interview turned Itunes Podcast Pete Wentz said that they are on a touring Hiatis not a full on break up. Records will still be released. Give them some slack. They all have their own lives (as said by Music.DrownLife) and Pete is a father. But, records will still come out. So calm down.

I get that he is a father and has duties there, to be all he can be for his son, and to be in his life. No one wants an absent father in any way. Patrick, Andy, and Joe all have their own lifes to lead in a light of their own. Not the light that beams off of Pete. I get it.

But...

If he ends up in another band that would be freaking ridiculous. Bands cannot find a way to change their sound to go in different directions. No one wants to progress too far from their norm.

Though I never saw this coming, I can't say I'm shocked, or even slightly sad. /:

Well actually I knew about this a long time ago. Like when the latest CD came out I decoded "Alpha Dog" and got that conclusion.
But I hope that FOB continues with out Patrick. I love their music. I think they will do well with out him.

*Crosses fingers*

This is sad. I dont ness. listen to FOB mucha nymore. But I still looked up to each of its members. This is a sad day, my friends.
Im sure Pete'll be off to do something else though. I wish him luck. :)

I don't even like FOB and this had made me mildly sad.

Your priorities do really change when you have kids though, so I can respect him for that.

Well. I was sort of expecting some sort of emotional reaction from myself, but as it turns out, I am completely unaffected by this. Oh well.

oh man....this really sucks....FOB has been a huge part of my high school life....every year something great comes out!!! I can't believe this....i saw petes tweet, but I didn't believe it.....damn.. =*(

I hope it's not true because I love Pete, and I love FOB altogether! Honestly, I blame Ashlee Simpson for this. I mean, I know they're in love, but I never really liked her in the first place (and to me she's an honest creeper), she threw a tantrum while playing in the new Melrose Place show and got kicked off. She just doesn't seem fitting to be with Pete in my opinion.

With that aside, I hope it's not true ):

Bands often take breaks for years at a time, I mean Pete has a family to take care of too. And Patrick has also stated he wants to settle down too. I'm sure they'll come back.

i had a feeling that once her married ashley he would leave the band but nobody else believed me.

pete wentz has been made a brand. hopefully, this is because he's realised what an arse he's been made of.

I think maybe the title should have had a question mark since although he has given hints he may not perform with FOB ever again it isn't a definate thing "or i will be a part of it when everyone is on the same page."

I really didn't want it to happen but I knew it would. Sad let down. :(
