on the vegetarianism stuff; it's not for everyone just so everyone knows. I certainly don't like to eat meat but I HAVE to because I have iron deficiency anemia. I have to take iron vitamin pills everyday as well as eat iron rich foods that mostly include meat to be able to keep up with everyone and everything. vegetarianism is not an option for me though if I did have a choice I would be the first in line, somehow when I see raw meat I imagine seeing a piece of human meat but that could just be from watching too many horror movies and cannibalism documentaries...
I dont believe anything PETA puts on those sites, get some real evidence and I may believe you but all this is ultimately is some rant powered by a website's so-called information... I will continue eating skittles <3 I love them and besides rats , to me, deserve no kindness, THEY SPREAD THE PLAGUE!!!
in referance to that comment about "mibbians" liking skittles because celebrities do; I like skittle and other MARS inc. products and it's not because of celebrities and I think I vouch for most if not all. what kind of person likes a certain sweet good because a celebrity likes it? I like skittles because they taste good and animals have nothing to do with it. yeah it's sad but my stance is really; would you have a human dying because of scientific tests, or an animal that are usually bred for that reason? I would choose the animal since it's their purpose, but that's just me. I don't mean to offend people who oppose
* sorry got cut off.. * * tears.. * I wov skittles.. and reading that made me puke * THROWS BAG OF SKITTLES OUT CAR WINDOW DAMN YOU SKITTLES!!!* poor bugs... he never had a chance!!!!!!!!
Though I agree with Jay!
I also agree that those practices WERE unnecessary.
Though, I know this is a "PETA" article, so don't believe EVERYTHING you read from them. ^^
Am I the only one who realizes this article has nothing to do with Skittles?
It's all about cocoa and shit. And it's "according to" a site that is so obviously biased.
Ugh.
Just saying, you primarily blamed Skittle which is misleading because that product branch has nothing to do with it other than it's marketers. If you had mentioned, say, Malteasers or Milky Ways, or if you had some information relating chemicals used in Skittles to animal testing, then your point would be a lot more valid. That's nothing against the point you made, it's purely some concrit on writing articals, and it's not intended as something personal because I agree that animal testing is an awful thing. As a matter of fact, I don't eat KFC or a lot of fast food joints because I've heard that they mistreat their animals (and also because the bread is loaded with sugar, but that's beside the point). Any meat I do eat, I get off my girlfriend's father, who owns an organic farm. Strange behaviour for a 17 year old, I know, but it tastes better and is healthier. Oddly enough, my girlfriend's a hardcore vegeterian.
