I'm not being hostile.

I did not appreciate the comment about the junk food. So, I figure I should practice the golden rule in reverse.

Kindergarten came in handy for me. =)

You are ignorant to the fact that vegetarians can indeed get the proper nutrition they need without downing pills. I don't get why you are so hostile to me. I'm trying to keep as calm, but you're just being extremely rude. Please, if you wish to express your opinion, do it in a polite way or not at all.

Ah, lookie at this right here. We've got a little comedian here.

Listen, sweetie. Vegitarianism is a very healthy alternative, I'll agree. But unless you're choking down pills like no tomorrow, you're not gonna get the adequate nutrition.

Oh, and I love the comment at the end. You're right, vegetarianism isn't for me. I like steak wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. And Skittles. And I will continue to consume in my hateful ways.

Skittles is made by the same company that does this, so they technically do support testing.

There's no cocoa in Skittles, so technically your arguement against Skittles is irrelevent. You should have used a better example.

I'm a diabetic so I can't say I've condoned this, nor would I, but your souces seem highly biased.

I know many people who've been vegetarian for 30 years or more. It is possible to become vegetarian and still get enough protein. You just have to do it right and eat enough. If you're going to eat junk food 24/7, however, vegetarianism is definitely not for you. :)

I'd like to ask everyone to express themselves in a civil manner. I and some other commenters did nothing to anyone. You can state your opinion and still stay civil.

First I'd like to say that bears need to eat meat, but we do not. I am against eating meat, simply because we do not have to support the killing of animals. I'm not one of the people who will scream at someone just for eating meat, however.

There is a difference between testing on something we already know about and finding a cure for cancer, new medicine, etc.

Figures.

Another thing by PETA.

Guess what: PETA kills more than half of the animals they actually save.

Chew on that one for a bit. While you do that, I'm gonna chew on my Skittles.

I know we do need some animal testing, but do we really have to see that chocolate is bad for animals all over again? Do we not already know that? Also, we've ALREADY tested chocolate on humans.

I don't see why most of you (not all of course; even some of you who disagree are still retaining your civility) have to be so bitchy just because you do not agree with my opinion. Are you PMSing or something? Grow up and actually realize not everyone agrees with everyone else.

1) Your source seems quite biased. I don't believe a word you wrote until I see solid proof.

2) Want to stop animal testing? Great. Then all the people whose life-saving medications are discovered as a direct result of animal testing will probably die. Have you ever heard of a disease called diabetes? Yes. Well, without animal testing, large quanities of insulin would not be available for treatment. I'd rather have my father (who is diabetic) alive than small animals. It's a hard choice, but there, I made it.

3) Yes, it's cruel and torture and murder and evil, blah, blah, blah. So is us eating animals. So is bears eating animals. So is any other creature eating their food source. Creatures have that funny tendency to do whatever they can to survive and improve their chance of doing so. That's what this is for humans. We're a very selfish species, but so is every other species on the planet.

4) In response to Geegasmxoxo, what "technology and experience" do we have? Technology depends upon labs and furthers research. I must say, your statement is quite hypocritical. Just because I have a computer and I know how to type doesn't mean I'll discover the cure for cancer.

Okay, I agree, animal testing is bad. But I also agree with the last comment. How do you know this is actually happening?
I'm not sacrificing my skittles just because of an animal testing RUMOR.

How do you even KNOW that mars tests things on animals like that?
Have you actually visited the facility in which these test are carried out?

I feel horrible for those animals! But if we don't test it on animals, what if something happens to a human and an actual person dies compared to a guinea pig? That's what is needed about animal testing.
