THIS WAS WRITTEN EARLYER BUT I HAVE TO AGREE WITH IT! IT'S THE TRUTH SO TO THIS I SAY ALL MCR FANS WE MUST SHOW THEM THAT MCR SAVES LIVES NOT TAKES THEM! POST A COMMENT STATING HOW YOU FELT AND HOW MCR SAVED YOUR LIFE! I KNOW THEY SAVED MINE! THANK YOU

TO THE PARENTS OF THIS GIRL IM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

"Let's hope media sees the truth now!
No one can deny so many comments all around the net pertaining to this.

My Chemical Romance has only done good on this world.

They've saved plenty of lives, and fought against self-harm, suicide, and especially the touchy word "Emo".

:] They've done nothing other than encourage hope in those who felt there is no hope left, by identifying themselves with others.

They tell us it's okay to be messed up.

They tell us to stand up fucking tall.

They tell us to never let them take us alive.

They tell us not to be afraid to walk this world alone.

They tell us we'll carry on.

And that's just what we're gonna do. :] because we know the truth. And we know what they're real message is.

    We'll carry on."

IT UPSETS ME AND IM SURE THAT IM NOT THE ONLY MCR FAN OUT THERE THAT IS OUT RAGED BY THIS!

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE TEACHES KIDS TO BE OK WITH WHO THEY ARE! IT'S THE ONLY BAND I KNOW THAT CARES TO SHED A LIGHT ON THE WHOLE FACT THAT NOW AND DAYS EVERY ONE EXCPECTS ALL TEENAGERS TO BE THE SAME, IT'S OK THAT YOUR NOT BLOND WITH BLUE EYES!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE ONCE AGAIN BLAMING THIS ON MUSIC, TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE ON MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE? YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! THIS IS A LOAD OF BULL!

what the hell, her parents saw her cutting and didn't stop her because she said it was a "fashion"? since when it's been a fashion? now let's kill ourselves because we're emo and it's all part of the emo-fashion.

i really dunno what to think anymore.

Why didn't her parents stop her from cutting? They saw it.
Why was she cutting in the first place? She didn't sound like she was suffering.
And I don't recall My Chem ever telling people to commit suicide. Last time I checked, they're against it.

its sad how you people can call someone like her stupid i mean maybe she had some issues but that doesnt mean you can call her stupid for killing herself i think you guys are just bad mouthing her because you are all pissed off that they are blaming MCR like i said show some consideration for the girl instead of arguing whether MCR is to blame

It isn't MCR''s fault that she had to be stupid and cut herself and commit suicide. This is the type of person that gives all of us a bad name.

If she had serious problems that would have been understandable, but she never had major problems other than the fact that she thought that being EMO was a fashion. There is something defiantly something wrong with her there, but other than that, nothing was wrong.

She got what she wanted, she wanted to be the stereotype "EMO" well, she achieved it, and she achieved that MCR is most likely going to get a ad rep now that she had to Mention MCR in the mix.

okay i think most of these people have finalized this is not MCR's fault but i think it's those websites that sit there and say you get more points if you cut your wrist and if you attempt suicide... if she had went to a site where she could talk to REAL people i'm pretty sure she would have realized that she didn't have to cut herself to be 'emo' besides she didn't even know that 'emo fashion' (or whatever you want to call it) is called 'scene' so she probably guessed her way through most of this

She looks so close to my friend it isn't even funny.

Okay, For The First Fucking Fact, Upon Reading "My Chemical Romance: This Band Will Save Your Life" Gerard Way Actually Says That The Band Wanted To Squish 'Emo' For Good. And The Only Reason Parents And Newspapers Are Blaming My Chemical Romance Is Because They Can't Fucking Look Beyond That. Who Knows, Maybe The Girl Was Just Trying To Fit In. In Case You Haven't Realised, Our World, That's Right; Our So Called 'Precious' Earth Is Going Straight To Hell In A Hand Basket. Stop Blaming The First Thing You See, Let Me Get You A Shovel. Keep Digging For The Right Answer. I'm Actually Outraged By This. That Girl Had No Fucking Right To Just Hang Herself. Just Because She Said That 'Emo' Was A Fashion? That's Very Very Wrong Of Her. I'm Not Saying She Deserved It, No One Deserves To Die. To Anyone Out There, Just Because You Read A Sort Of Fashion That You're Interested In, Doesn't Mean You Have To Follow It Your Whole Life Just So No One Calls You A Poser. There Are No Rules, Just Live Life How You Feel You Could Live It. Don't Do Shit Like This.

These parents are only using My Chemical Romance as a scapegoat! The father saw the cuts and DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!! Oh, and by the way, there are countless interviews of MyChem. REJECTING the Emo trend. These guys have no one to blame but themsalves; for not paying attention to their kid's behavior, and for being so lax in parenting that the girl thought it was OK to give her life, TO BE A POSER!!

Didn't her parents see the cuts? Why didn't they ask her?
    Did she just want attention?

I don't like MCR, but I still think they shouldn't have been blamed. How does any of their songs make someone automatically want to kill themselves?
That is never the way to solve anything.
I just want to know why she did it.

That really pisses me off. It's people like THAT that give My Chem a bad image.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE HAS DONE NOTHING BUT GOOD!

Do I even need to say how many lives MCR has SAVED? Seriously.

Sorry parents and family of the girl but she obviously had some issues. You don't just listen to a band and say "oh! This band makes me want to kill myself! I think I will!" and hang yourself. Be realistic.

Blame depression, the school bullies, or even yourselves. Not My Chem.

I don't know how the fuck mcr are being
    blamed for this.

    It's that girls fault.
Not Gerard, frank, mikey, bob's and ray's fault.

    Gosh.

it's kinda ridiculous that they blame MCR. I am an MCR soldier and blaming MCR is like a chihuahua trying to be a tiger. I mean, MCR didn't ask her to do it. MCR was born to save people's lives not take 'em.
Plus emo is not a fashion its a fucking life. Calling yourself emo is like being a poser. So she didn't die because of MCR. She just died because of herself. Blame her. Not MCR.

wow. well, the fact that she is calling emo a 'fashion' makes it seem rediculous. (although it was probably a cover for other issued) but honestly...

if it was just a 'fashion' then why would the parents and media blame it on msuci as such?

I think its just rediculous, there are so many suicide a week, and from all different people coming from different cultures, there is no way you can just not target the rest of the people...

how many of oyu hear baout all hte spanish people who commit suicide?
