People over-react and want to be the victim. Even you and I, The Zac, even you and I.

That causes people to throw anything out of proportion.

Absolutely. Rather than use your status as an excuse you achieve things and be a decent human being despite the fact.

Lmfao. I haven't really had any problems with my life, and I'm a minority and a woman. Maybe I just make the most out of everything without using my problems as leverage to be offended like some people here ;]

I like how you refer to me solely as "The Zac". And not just Zac. But good summation of what's gone down in this here little blog of mine haha.

    sobre mi cadaver:
"I don't see it; it doesn't affect me, so it's not a thing". You, as a man, are not affected by this because society has not placed a stigma on your sexuality and body. This is why you don't see it and why you think it's not a huge issue.
Don't you think that is stereotyping right there? You just did the very thing you were disagreeing with Zac about. Instead of telling women they are dirty for touching themselves, you're telling Zac that men face nothing in regards to how the society views them. How are men not affected by stigmas regarding sexuality and body? Do they not feel the struggle to be that strong, sexy man with the large penis? Do they not feel uncomfortable if they have man breasts, body fat, are short, or have small 'assets'? You're extremely one-sided for viewing women as the only gender that faces problems involving sexuality and the body.

I think if you're a good, likeable woman, then people will be good and likeable to you.
Regardless of whether or not you sleep around.
    That is all.
EDIT: Or not. Most people are dicks.

Well, that might have been a little too extreme, I enjoyed reading that and agree with it.

This site has been decaying because of that nonsense, more so now than back in the past.

Here, here. These people who are against "Slut-shaming" seem so overly-sensitive. Who cares if someone thinks someone else is a slut? Since when did some stranger behind the screen get so important to these people that they had to over-react? It's an opinion. Some opinions are expressed harshly, but if it is not directed at a specific user, GET OVER YOURSELVES. So what if it can be traced back to you simply because you might fall under that category? Don't think so highly of yourselves to where you tell others that the things they are saying in their blogs are wrong. This is not a debate section. This is a personal BLOG section meant for expressing one's self. Where this blog is made for debate because it welcomes it, others aren't so much, yet get run down in the dirt by over-sensitive people who think the world revolves around themselves.

Okay, I didn't even need to read through all of the comments to see how stupid everyone is acting.

The Zac isn't talking about your bullshit situations where you are called a slut because you decided to use red lipstick.

The Zac is talking about those who go around having sex with everyone, blog every time they do it or post it on Facebook, then act like they have a right to a "don't oppress me" crap.

As for the rape victims and people who wear shoes with too much of a high heel, I don't think they should be slut shamed. Guess what! The Zac agrees with that, too!

Because he is talking about those who purposely DESERVE it in the first place, the soul reason it existed!

Unfortunately, people are stupid. We throw things out of proportion. That includes shaming people who need to turn their life around, because some start throwing shit at the wrong monkeys.

It doesn't matter what you say back to this either, because those on the other extreme who are just as bad as those who shame.

It's not like this was intended as a movement. I posted a blog and then Mibba went ape shit. Not my intent and certainly not the reaction I intended to get. So if you expected this to be an organized protest, it was never intended to be one and that's why it isn't.

I'm just not even going to bother anymore. Some of the points you raise are good for sure, and the central idea is a good one. I just think the execution has been very average.

Okay, yeah, I totally see why that is something you would take issue with. No one should ever try to force anyone else to agree with or approve of their choices. I understand trying to get people to approve of your right to make your own choices, but to go beyond that and try to force agreement is beyond acceptable. I completely hear you on that.

That said, I haven't personally seen anyone claiming to be a slut and trying to convince others that their actions are "correct" in any way beyond just "correct for that particular individual as he/she feels". (I can't word that better, my brain is failing, so please forgive the awkwardness of that sentence.) My understanding of the slut-shaming-band-wagon was just that many people are against people passing judgement on choices related to sexual activity and personal attire. The blogs I have seen are simply those similar to one of dru's, in which the author has listed the reasons they are apparently deemed a slut, and perhaps a response to why those reasons are ridiculous. But that's all, again, in an attempt to point out that nobody has the right to pass judgement or verbally/socially dictate what another chooses to do with their life. (I mean, obviously not in the context of murder and whatnot).

Again, what you described, I completely agree with. Actually, I think most people against slut shaming would also agree.

I don't know where you got the idea I was saying you needed to agree with my sex life or my wardrobe choices, just that you shouldn't shame me for them.

Sorry if you can't understand what I'm saying, but that's not my problem. I'm a pretty intelligent girl and my friend who is reading along can understand what I say. A dictionary, perhaps?

Well then why have a lot of you gone so far from that concept? I'm an intelligent guy and I could hardly make sense of your bizarre and convoluted statements.

No, the anti-slut shaming people are trying to get people to QUIT SHAMING OTHERS FOR THEIR CHOICES. It doesn't mean agree with them, it means keep your mouth shut unless you can open it WITHOUT abusing or shaming others.

    Such a hard concept.
