    Making comments does not imply ownership? If I see a nice Ferrai and go "daaaam sick car", does that mean I now claim ownership? If so I need to start voicing my opinion more often. People comment on shit, I've had negative comments about myself I'm sure. That's just how people are. We perceive things and don't always like it.

    I barely heard about slut shaming before all this popped up on mibba. There are much more important issues.

    But if they're dressing with how they're comfortable why is it okay for you to judge them? They're comfortable in their skin, and respect them selves differently then everyone else, showing your tits or showing more skin doesn't make you more of a slut then the next person.

    I don't think it's okay for anyone to be judged as a slut.

    I get judged as a slut for the following reasons;

    I have big boobs.
    I've had more then 5 partners in the past four years
    I like wearing short shorts and make up

    It doesn't just happen to people who post their nudes on the internet or people who dress "like a whore". Just because you don't like how someone exposes themselves doesn't make them a slut or a whore.. I think it's wrong to label some one just based on their appearance or your social morals.

    No I'm talking about people who flaunt their sexuality to the world and try to aggravate people. I know I didn't communicate that too well so I can see why you read it the way you did. When I say shitty person I think of someone just looking to get a rise out of people.

    A lot of people slut shame. They slut shame anyone who doesn't something they deem inappropriate and related to sex. It could be wearing make up too dark or making sexual jokes. A woman can be slut shamed for literally anything.

    No, I'm not. But if I'm wearing a low cut shirt, apparently people are allowed to shame me because I deserve it, according to your blog. My body is public property and they are allowed to make statements and shame me for it because it's not my body, it's theirs to comment on.

    I never said your body was anyone's property? Are you literally just copy and pasting cliches from a slut shaming site?

    Who are these people that are slut shaming virgins and all that? Why not focus this energy and motivation on to a more important cause?

    "Not liking the fact that some people don't like whores? ... But in my estimation, if you act like a slut, and try and make a huge deal about it. I'm going to assume you're a shitty person."

    I'm sorry, but I think you just posted the epitome of slut-shaming. What gives you the right to call someone a whore? What actions define what you consider to be a whore? Why is that a bad thing? What's wrong with someone who does something that they enjoy? Why does someone's sexual activity make them a shitty person? I'm not understanding how someone who claims to not care what people do can care enough to decide someone's a shitty person because of it.

    And please do not read aggression into my tone; I know I worded that kind of curtly, but I'm on my phone and am too lazy to find a way to make that sound more polite. So... yeah.

    You talk about slut shaming like only one type of person gets slut shamed. Slut shaming can happen to anyone, including someone who doesn't wear a miniskirt or a virgin.

    But, yeah, my body isn't public property no matter what you say about it and if you want to claim it is, then you've missed some serious lessons about ownership and slavery and consent in school.

    @ G-Dragon;
    I understand why some people aren't cool with people dressing like whores. If I'm at a supermarket at 9 am on a Sunday morning I don't want to see some fat chick with her ass hanging out of her shorts. It affects me because its gross. As far as promiscuous behaviour goes, don't make a huge deal out of it and no one will care.

    The victims of rape don't deserve to be made into the bad guy. Stupid girls who wanna show off their tits and whinge about oppression are not victims. I have all the sympathy in the world for victims of rape.

    Rape victims get slut shamed. Guess they should have tried harder not to get raped.

    Slut Shaming goes for any gender... telling someone they're a slut for doing what makes them comfortable or happy isn't right.. even if it's an opinion, it harms people in ways sometimes others can't understand.

    I'm quite neutral to this thing, but I do agree that a lot of this slut shamming business (or is it slut shaming?) has been blown out of proportion (I don't know by how much but you catch my drift :P). I just feel that people were getting carried away by their emotions and weren't thinking. Now as for slut shamming/shaming itself, I still have no opinions about it because it doesn't affect me. People can do whatever they want (except for abuse, murder and theivery, and kidnapping) as long as it doesn't effect me in anyway.
