Accidents Happen - CLOSED

Zoe walked down the hallway towards her locker. She was extremly tired and justed wanted to get home.

Jake punched his friend in the arm as he walked down the hallway of the school. School was over and now he was just getting ready to head home for the day. He just had to stop at his locker and grab some books even if he wasn't really going to study.

Zoe texted her mom to make sure she was going to come get her. She then slid her phone in her pocket. Grabbing her books she slid them in her bag.

Jake stuffed his books and binder in his book bag and then slammed his locker shut. He then proceeded down the hallway. He walked towards the exit as he pulled his phone out to start texting. He bumped into someone, but continued to walking outside.

Zoe fell flat on her ass, as Jake kept on walking. She sighed, picking herself up off of the ground.

Jake pushed the door open and walked out of the school and down the steps towards his car. He was going to meet up with a group of friends to plan a party for the weekend.

Zoe walked outside and sat on the steps. She had to wait for her mom to pick her up from school.

Jake got into his car and then pulled out of his parking spot. He then drove past the steps of the school and glanced once at the girl sitting on the steps before speeding off.

Zoe ran her hand threw her hair. Her mom was late, which was odd..

Jake made a U-Turn after he realized that he was going in the wrong direction. He passed the school again and stopped when he still saw the girl sitting on the front steps. He pulled into the parking lot and stopped in front of the stairs. He rolled down his window. "You need a ride?" he asked.

"Uh..s-sure." she said grabbing her bag and standing up. She opened the door, and slid in, pulling her bag so it was on her lap.

He waited until she was inside. He then pulled out of the school parking lot again. "Where to?" he asked.

She told him her address, brushing her bangs out of her face.

He drove in the direction he knew her street was located. He drove just about everywhere, so he was pretty good when it came to directions.

She chewed her lip as she glanced at him. She didn't understand why he was being nice to her.

He glanced at her. "What's your name? Mine's Jake," he said tired of the silence.

"Zoey." she said softly, sending him a smile.

He nodded. "That's a cute name. So, how come you were sitting outside the school?" he wondered.

"I honestly I don't know. Mom usually picks me up, but she didn't show up." she said.
