He grinned. "Well, here I am. Let's go," he said. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and led her towards what other students called the 'popular' table.
When the bell rang Zoe stood up and grabbed her bag. She turned towards Jake. "I'll see ya later." she said smiling up at him before starting towards the exit doors.
Zoe groaned and hung up on her mom when she found out she couldn't pick her up. She slammed her locker and started towards the house. The buses had already left, so she had to walk.
Jake left school later than usual. He got into his car and left the school grounds. He noticed someone walking up ahead and sped up a little. He honked his horn and rolled down his window as he pulled up alongside them. "Need a ride?"
"Good. You're not opposed to alcohol or anything are you? Cause there will be lots there. I can always make sure there are non alcoholic drinks for you if you want. Whenever I host parties I make sure everyone fits in and is comfortable," he said.
