He smiled. "No problem. I was headed in the direction anyways," he said. He pulled up to the curb of her house and sat idling. "If you're not doing anything Friday night, you should come to the party that I'm having," he said before she got out of the car.
He smiled and nodded. "It's cool. See ya at school tomorrow," he called before she shut the door. He watched her as she made it inside the house before he pulled away from the curb. He then headed towards his friend's house to plan the party.
Jake walked into the school and headed towards his locker. He passed Zoe on the way and stopped. He tapped her on the shoulder and then handed her the party flier that he and his buddies created the day before. He then walked off towards his locker to put his stuff away.
After Jake put his books and binders in his locker he headed towards his first class. He walked into his class and noticed that Zoe was in his class. He didn't know he shared a class with her. He sat down near the back, but he had a clear view of the back of her head. He pulled a piece of paper out and wrote something on it before he crumpled it up and tossed it at the back of her head.
Zoe turned around to find a piece of paper on the floor. She picked it up and waited until the teacher had her back turned. She opened and bit her lip. She look back at Jake and nodded. She slipped the paper in her pocket.
Jake grinned before he pulled another piece of paper out and started jotting down random words. He didn't really take notes, but he managed to do well in school anyways.
Jake continued to doodle on his paper as his eyes landed on Zoe's head again. He wanted the bell to ring all ready. He looked at the clock over the whiteboard and sighed with relief. They only had ten minutes left in class.
Jake grabbed his bag after stuffing his papers inside and then walked towards his next class. He preferred gym class over any other class considering it allowed him to release any kind of frustration or other built up emotion that he bottled up when they were told to run around the track.
Jake dried his hair before pulling on his shirt. He had just finished running four miles during gym class. The coach allowed him to take a shower and then the lunch bell had rung during his quick shower. After he was done getting dressed he walked towards the cafeteria. He stopped next to Zoe who was standing just inside the door. "Something wrong?" he asked.
