The Revolution

Xhex took in her words. Oddly enough... he could understand where she was coming from. To pick someone like him would have almost been her trying to confront her fears... and then love? That part was hard to believe... but everyone else seemed to believe it and he'd seen the videos... so what choice did he have but to go along with it, "Alright. When you say I have to act like we're dating... what does that entail?"

"It doesn't have to be too lovey dovey. I mean this is a royal interview so it's not like we have to get handsy. But we will need to come across as caring for each other. That we're actually in love and maybe a kiss or two." Elizabeth told him softly. "Just act like you really care about me and our future."

Xhex studied her, "Will you be okay with this?" He asked softly, "Because I can tell by the pain in your eyes that this is... hard for you." He frowned, "And I have this... connection to you. As if I can feel your emotions... tap into your mind.... which is from me feeding from you, so that makes perfect sense... so, yeah. Original question. Will you be okay with this?"

Elizabeth was quiet as he asked her if she would be okay. She didn't feel like she would be okay. This was terrible and her heart was being ripped apart just by the way he looked at her. "This is something that we have to do. I know what will happen otherwise and I need to protect my country from that. So please go along with this for a while."

Xhex nodded, letting out a deep breath, "Alright. I'll help you." He nodded to her, "Is there any particular outfit I need to wear? Or things I need to do or not do?" He didn't really want to do this... but she had such a devastated look in her eyes, even if she tried to hide it.

Elizabeth seemed to calm down a little. Thank goodness she was not going to have to fight with her about this. That would just make it too hard on her. "Follow me please." Elizabeth said as she headed out of the kitchen. She walked through the castle and went up to a bedroom. It was Xhex's new room. Hung up was a suit and tie. "Put that on and when you're done come out and we'll start talking about the rest of it."

Xhex looked at the suit, the turned to her, "Alright. Where do I meet you? Or will you be waiting in the hall for me?" He asked as he walked over and grabbed the suit, draping it over his arm, "Or you could stay in here while I change in the bathroom," He said, giving an awkward shrug.

"I'll do that then." Elizabeth said as she sat down in the chair. Once he was in the bathroom she laid her head on the table. She was tired and she just wanted the interview to be over. Elizabeth wanted to work on him not this interview.

Xhex quickly changed and, when he walked out, he'd already put his socks on. He reached for the dress shoes as he took in her position. If he hadn't thought that this was difficult for her before... now he knew it was. He sat in the chair opposite her, "I'm sorry this is happening to you."

Elizabeth looked up at Xhex when he spoke. She had not really notice him sit down across from her until then. Letting out a small sigh she pushed her hair back. "This can't be easy on you either...I mean you're the one with the lost memories." She told him gently. "Anyways we should move on. You have a lot you need to remember."

Xhex nodded, "Alright, start teaching me... because I have a feeling that I'm never going to have enough time to memorize everything." He leaned down and put the dress shoes on, tying the laces while he continued to liil up at her.

Lucy nodded to him before beginning to go over the important aspects of their story. There was a lot that she was killing over. Those things were mostly because there wasn't enough time and that it wasn't interview material. Though despite her dropping a lot of things he had a lot to remember about them.

By the time they were done he sighed, "That's a lot to know... I don't think I'll be able to get everything perfect... just...elbow me or something like that if I manage to get things wrong." He gave her a small smile, "You really do love him - me - don't you? You really are going through a lot for us and your country."

"I don't expect you to remember all of it perfectly. I just need you to remember enough so that's its believable and....pretend that you love me." Elizabeth closed her eyes for a moment before continuing. "And yes. I love him...I love my Xhex more than anything. My country, my family and him are only what really matters." She understood that Xhex was not her Xhex anymore. They were two different people....

Xhex studied her, "Then I truly am sorry that he's gone... but have you thought about what would happen if he doesn't comeback? Am I to just... just stay here and keep pretending?"

"No." Elizabeth said rather quickly. She wanted her Xhex back more than anything but she wouldn't be able to stand staying there, pretending if him if it wasn't meant to be. That would break her. Being with Xhex like this was already breaking here. "No." Elizabeth said again after a few moments, her voice softer than before. "I don't know what will happen if he doesn't. It was never something that was considered...But if he doesn't you are not going to be punished for that. You won't be forced to stay here....It may take longer than you would like but a plan wold be created so that you may leave and continue onto other things."

Xhex looked down, studying the carpet at his feet, "I'll try to fine him, Princess," he said softly, "I'm not as bad as people make me out to be... and I - for some reason - hate seeing you this upset and in pain. So I'll try my hardest to find your... your Xhex,"

"I know you aren't." Elizabeth told him. She lifted her head, looking into his eyes. "and the world was able to see a bit of your sweetness too." She took a moment, needing to pause Her eyes were starting to water up. "And if you can somehow find my Xhex...I need him back." Elizabeth then suddenly stood up, rubbing the bottom of her eyes as she tried to stop herself from crying. "A servant will come collect you when the interviewer is ready." Elizabeth said before she moved quickly out of the room.

Xhex sat where he was as Elizabeth rushed out. A part of him wanted to go after her, but it would have been awkward. He hoped that he could find her Xhex, if only to take that look of pain from her eyes. The only problem was... he didn't feel like there was another Xhex.
