The Revolution

"It will," He smiled, nodded at her, then turned, "Come on, let's get going. If your horse doesn't show more sweat - as if we really did ride - then your father is going to start asking questions." he lead the way out, turning to take in the building again from the outside.

"I'd like to think that my father doesn't get that suspicious of me." Elizabeth mumbled as she followed him out of the house. "I mean sometimes I stop riding and look around." She gave him a small shrug before going over to her horse. Elizabeth grabbed the reigns before getting herself off. She then walked her horse in a huge circle before looking over at him. "Ready?"

Xhex took a deep breath, eyes closing as he felt the freedom around him before sighing and meeting her gaze with a nod, "Yeah. Any place you want to stop at between here and home?" He asked. He hoped her dad wasn't the suspicious type, but Xhex had learned not to trust humans. They were suspicious and cruel.

Elizabeth glanced up at the sky, seeing that the sun was going down. She didn't want to be out in the forest once it got dark and certaintly not with Xhex. "No I just want to go home now." She told him as she glanced back at Xhex for a moment. Elizabeth then began to slowly ride back to the house, she was waiting for the vampire to start running.

Xhex took a deep breath and looked back at the house as Elizabeth began riding home. He stood there, taking it all in, before turning around and running after her. He caught up to her quickly, now keeping pace with her horse, "Okay, so what am I supposed to do when we're back." He sent her a boyish grin, "I'm assuming that I'm not spending the night in the same room as you."

"No you don't." Elizabeth said, smiling but still shaking her head at him. "Actually there ibu7a room next to mine that you get to use. The only reason you sleep upstairs is just in case I need you." She told him before she began to ride the house faster. Elizabeth thought it was better to run her horse.

Xhex sped up, nodding at what she said, "Alright." He kept his eyes forward, trying to figure things out, "What about the other humans in your house? Is it just your family, or are there more?" He needed to get an idea of who was who... and, more importantly, who was friend or foe, "And then how many vampires do you guys own?"

"There are a few more in the house because they are in charge of the other vampires. And there are a fee more vampires but I do not know how many we have in the house." Elizabeth suddenedly stopped In the middle of the forest. "Oh I almost forgot." She pulled out the file, giving him a file of a vampire abuser.

Xhex stopped beside her, taking the file and opening it up. There was a picture of a wealthy family in the front. A father, mother, and older teen aged son. Together they had a total of four vampire slaves. A personal slave for each family member then a back up... in case one of the personals was 'too sick' to make an appearance or work. After quickly glancing through the files his eyes lifted to hers, "Are they friends of the family?"

Elizabeth thought that it was rather amusing that the boy would even think that she would give him files of family friends. No she would not do that in worry of the punishment an getting caught. Her parents were rather devoted to their friends and she was too. "No they aren't. They live a bit out of town. We never talk to them but we do know what they are doing."

Xhex nodded, "Alright. I'll think of some sort of plan." He folded the file back up, shoving it into the back of his shirt and jean band, "Later tonight I'll study it, figure out all the specifics, then let you know." He met her gaze, "Sound like a plan?"

"Sounds like a good idea to me." Elizabeth said softly before she took her glaze away from him. She was afraid of how this was going to turn out but she hoped she was doing the right thing. Her stomach was turning an her heart was beating like crazy. She just didn't know if this was right. Elizabeth wasn't sure if she trusted him. Even though they had moved forward in this plan, she was thinking that maybe she should take it slower, just in case.

Xhex studied her, tilting his head as he watched her, "Are you okay? Your heart rate just rose and your face paled." He braced his hands on his hips, "Do you need water or something?" Maybe she was just stressed, but he didn't think so. He wanted to know what was going on though. If she was hiding something from him...

Elizabeth's eyes widen a bit as she looked down at him. At first she was shocked that he knew what was going but but quickly remembered that his hearing and eyesight were much better. She placed her hands on top of his. "I just don't feel too good. I think it's just stress though. I want to head back now." It was part of the truth, she was feeling stressed but it wasn't the whole truth.

Xhex studied her for a little longer, then nodded, "Alright, but tell me if this stress progresses." He nodded to her and, when they were heading back to her home again, he spoke, "So when we get back... is it family reading time, or what?" He asked, wondering what was going to be expected of him back at the mansion.

"It is time to go to head to bed when we get back. You will be doing the same." Elizabeth told him as she headed up to the stables. One of the servants ran up, helping her off before taking the horse. "I'll show you where your room is." She told Xhex as she headed inside.

Xhex nodded, stepping back as the servant lead the horse away and Elizabeth walked by. He fell into step with her as they walked to the mansion, "Alright, and am I expected to have breakfast ready for you? Do I have to be up earlier then you?" he sighed, "The slave lessons I took didn't prepare a vampire for the service of this home." He shook his head, "They figured the best most of us would do was a moderately wealthy home."

"We have cooks so you will not be cooking but you do need to go down and get my breakfast for me. I have breakfast in my room unless I am called down to the dining room. I wake up at eight o'clock so breakfast should be in my room by then or ten minutes later. So really if you can get ready and get the food in five minutes you can get up at eight too." Elizabeth glanced over at Xhex with a small smile. "If you don't know what to do, just ask. But don't ask in front of others, it makes me look terrible."

Xhex nodded, "Alright. And that formal outfit I have to wear?" He turned half pleading eyes onto her, "Please tell me it isn't a tux or a suit. They're so stiff and itchy..." he shook his head, "Really uncomfortable." he reached out and held the door open for her, letting her proceed first before following.

Elizabeth lightly laughed. "Well actually you will have to wear a tux but that is only when we have certain guests. Otherwise you just wear a dressy shirt, a vest, tie and black pants. I heard that it wasn't too uncomfortable. You'll get it tomorrow morning." She headed up the stairs, towards the bedrooms. She walked passed her room, went one door down and on the other side of the hall. Only two vampires got to stay upstairs, Elizabeth's and her mother's. So he was rather lucky. "This is your room."
